Abstract: A heat-recovery equipment is described which is applied to a machine for fixing and finishing garments such as hosiery, socks and the like. In particular, the autoclave comprises a shell which is composed by first and second portions that define a treatment chamber, an inlet-conduit for supplying the steam-flow into the chamber, and an outlet-conduit for evacuating the steam-flow out of the chamber. An actuator is provided for selectively bringing the shell from an open configuration to a close configuration for respectively introducing and treating the garments. The equipment comprises a heat-exchanger in fluid connection with the outlet-conduit, and ventilation means associated thereto. The steam-flow feeds the heat-exchanger which heats an air-flow which is produced by the ventilation means and is directed to the garments, so as to perform a pre-drying step.
