    Abstract: A connector arrangement for butt joining substantially hollow, tubular structural members is provided comprising a connector (80) which is securely fastened within the end of a first member (59) to be abutted to an extending member (31) and whereby the head of the connector protrudes from the first member and is simultaneously and securely retained within two openings provided within the extending member. In a preferred embodiment the two openings in the extending member extend the full length of the extending member along each side face thereof. In this manner the joint may be effectuated at any location along the length of the extending member. The head configuration (81) of the connector includes a spherical portion and a plate portion (84), which provide for a secure fit within the two openings of the extending member.

    Abstract: An improved bracket arrangement for a slotted wall system is disclosed. The arrangement provides for vertically positioning the bracket (30, 66) regardless of the angle of the slots (23) along the wall. A rotatable positioning bar (38, 59, 60) is attached to the back of the bracket which allows the bar (38, 59, 60) to be positioned transverse to the longitudinal axis of the slot (23) while the bracket (30, 66) is maintained in a vertical orientation. Cam means (50) are used to wedge the bar (38, 59, 60) of the bracket and the back of the bracket between the slot (23) and the face of the wall (20).
