Abstract:
Insert to be used with different types of water outlets, such as shower heads, water taps, hoses for watering and so on. The insert has a mouthpiece (1) with a central axial channel (8) for through flow, and a rotationally symmetrical deflector element (6) for the water is situated in the vicinity of the outer mouth of the channel. The deflector element (6) is held in place by a stem (3) with radial clearance to the channel, and surrounded by a conical surface (7). The mouthpiece (1) delimits a cavity (9) around and axially outside the deflector element (6), and the conical surface (7) converges axially outwards. The end of the stem (3) opposite of the deflector element (6) is connected to a head (10), which head has at least one bore which supplies water to the channel (8). A regulator (1 1, 21, 23) to achieve a substantially constant flow of water independent of the supply water pressure, is integrated in the head (10). The regulator comprises substantially axial grooves (1 1 ) on the outside end of the head (10) and an O-ring (21) which is placed around the grooves (11 ) and is influenced by the water pressure, and successively is being pressed into the grooves with increasing water pressure.
Abstract:
A water saving device (100) for use at or near a water outlet, the device comprising: a first water flow regulating element (104); a second water flow regulating element (106) disposed downstream of the first regulating element; a chamber (116) formed between the first and second regulating elements; wherein all of one or more water flow regulating parts of the second regulating element are made from substantially solid material.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a device for reducing the amount of water or other fluid discharged at a tap (4), which device comprises a body member (1) having an inlet adapted to be connected to a supply of water or other fluid, dual outlets through which the fluid is to be discharged to the locus, one fluid path between said inlet and said outlet is controlled by a flow/pressure responsive valve mechanism (10) located in the inner fluid path (9) between said inlet and outlet.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The subject of the invention is multipart water restrictor, which is inserted into the oppressed part of a new or already existent water armature and it restricts the flow of water and at the same time does not allow the hard parts to enter into the armature. Multipart water restrictor is composed by a washer restrictable part (1) and a protective sieve (2). At the thickened edge (1b) of the part (1a) of the washer restrictable part (1) there is a protective sieve (2), and in the washer restrictable part (1) there is a hole (4) with an edge (4'). The protective sieve (2) is cone-shaped with equally large longish shaped rifts (2') and it can be replaced without changing the washer restrictable part.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a device for reducing the amount of water or other fluid discharged at a tap (19), which device comprises a body member (1, 2) having an inlet adapted to be connected to a supply of water or other fluid, an outlet through which the fluid is to be discharged to the locus, a fluid path between said inlet and said outlet and a valve mechanism located in the fluid path between said inlet and outlet for controlling the flow of fluid through the tap (19), characterised in that the device comprises: (a) a body member (1, 2) adapted to be mounted on or in the outlet to the tap in the flow path of fluid through said outlet; (b) a plurality of fluid flow bores (17, 18) extending through the body member; and (c) a pressure responsive flow regulating means for limiting the flow of fluid through at least some of said bores in response to the flow of fluid applied to said body member, the pressure responsive means comprising two transverse flow regulation members (3, 4) connected axially so that they move as a unit.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a through-flow regulator with a regulator core insert (1) which comprises a support ring (5) and a regulator core (3) connected to webs (7). The regulator core (3) has U-shaped, rectangular or semi-circular grooves (11) between which there are substantially flat generating surfaces (9). An O-ring (31) can abut the generating surfaces (9) in linear manner or over a large area. In this way, the open cross-sections in the grooves (11) for the water and hence the amount flowing through can be defined and reproduced exactly.
