Abstract:
Insert nut for a screw nut joint (26, 11) of the type which comprises a substantially rectangular block, of which the short side substantially corresponds to the width of the outer groove portion (15) in a T-formed groove (13), which outer groove portion (15) is delimited by side flanges (16) in a profile (12) or the like and which inner groove portion (17) is expanded relative to the outer groove portion (15). The long side of the insert nut (11) substantially corresponds to the width of the inner groove portion (17), and which nut by rotation can be transversally positioned and be brought into contact with the underside of the side flanges (16) of the groove. The nut (11) is designed with a substantially quadratic shoulder section (20), which is arranged concentric with the threaded hole (19) of the nut, and with substantially the same width as the short side of the nut. The shoulder section is intended to cooperate with the side edges of the outer groove portion (15), and it is divided in the vertical direction in a lower quadratic portion (21) and an upper quadratic portion (22) designed with two diametrically opposed rounded corners (23).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a roller rail for units moving along façades. Said rail comprises at least a head (1), a web (2), a base (3) and at least a running surface (4) provided on the head (1) surfaces oriented towards the web (2). The invention aims at enabling said roller rail to be fixed laterally. To achieve this, the base (3) comprises fixing means (4) to enable it to be suspended, and the web (2) comprises fixing means (6) for being laterally fixed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for fixing a first part (1) to a fixed second part (2), especially to a part of a vehicle. The device comprises a fixing element (6) which can be connected to the first part (1) and which has at least one captively arranged fastening element (8). Said fastening element can be moved into a first, locking position for connecting the first part (1) to the second part (2) and a second, unlocking position for releasing the first part (1) from the second part (2). The fastening element (8) has an upper part (9) which faces towards the second part and a lower part (10) which faces towards the first part, said upper part (9) and said lower part (10) being configured in such a way that they can pivot about a swivel axis (14) and the fastening element (8) being held on the top part.
Abstract:
A clamping screw (1) has a shaft (3) with a thread and a rectangular screw head (2) which can be form-fittingly inserted into a T-groove (4) of an element (25). In the mounting position, the screw head (2) extends transversely to a longitudinal slot (5) of the T-groove (4) and has clamping sections (7) which engage from behind supporting branches (6) on both sides of the longitudinal slot (5). The clamping sections comprise each a straight edge (12) and a blocking edge (13) that can be supported against a wall (14) of the groove. The blocking edge (13) projects out of a side surface which is part of a longitudinal side (11). A straight line (15) connecting the straight edge (12) and the blocking edge (13) of the same longitudinal side (11) crosses a transverse axis (10) of the screw head (2) at an angle other than a 90 DEG angle.
Abstract:
A channel (21) and channel assembly having means to retain fixings disposed in the channel (21). The channel (21) has side-walls (28) inclined towards an attachment point which anchors the channel (21) to a structure. Suitable fixings (30) are described for use with the channel (21) and assembly, and these can have heads (35) with sides inclined at the same angle as the side-walls of the channel (21).
Abstract:
Systems for supporting pipes and other loads from elongated struts and channels. Clamps, connectors, and other fittings (90) for attaching the supported load to the channel (62) fit into cooperating notches (78) formed in flanges (72, 74) spaced inwardly from the side walls (64, 68) of the channel. The interfitting relationship provides a positive connection between the fitting (90) and the channel (62) keeping even heavy loads and loads subjected to vibration hammering, or the like and supported from the channel slipping, even if the supporting channel is vertically oriented and the load is therefore the most susceptible to slippage.
Abstract:
An elongated strut (25) which has a pair of inwardly depending flanges (35) formed to receive and secure fittings inserted into the continuous slot of the strut anywhere along the length of the slot. The flanges define an interior cavity to receive and hold strut fittings and accessories.
