Abstract: Compositions and methods for controlling a plant pest or for treating or preventing plant disease are provided. Such compositions and methods comprise a bacterial strain that controls one or more plant pests or that improves at least one agronomic trait of interest in a plant. The bacterial strain can be used as an inoculant for plants. Methods for controlling a plant pest, for growing a plant susceptible to a plant disease, and for controlling plant disease on a plant susceptible to the plant disease are provided. Methods for improving at least one agronomic trait of interest in a plant are also provided.

Método para el control de organismos fitopatógenos, que atacan a semilla vegetales durante su germinación, que comprende, aplicar una mezcla de conformidad con la presente invención, a semillas vegetales al momento de su germinación.

Dichas cepas bacterianas exhiben actividad fungicida contra Pseudocercospora fijiensis y presentan alguna o más de las siguientes características: actividad proteasa, producen enzima anti-estrés ACC deaminasa, fijan nitrógeno atmosférico, producen ácido indolacético y solubilizan minerales que son asimilados por las plantas. Nutriente agrícola que comprende el consorcio y una formulación nutritiva que incluye harina de soja, harina de quitina de jaiba, melaza y sulfato de magnesio y un método para la producción agrícola, el cual comprende aplicar una cantidad suficiente del nutriente agrícola a cultivos agrícolas.
