Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a plurality of virtual antenna panels, wherein the plurality of virtual antenna panels correspond to a plurality of groups of antenna ports and map to one or more portions of at least one physical antenna panel. The UE may map a plurality of reference signal resources to the plurality of virtual antenna panels. The UE may transmit, to a base station and based at least in part on the mapping, reference signals using the plurality of reference signal resources. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first reference signal from a first transmission reception point (TRP) and a second reference signal from a second TRP. The UE may estimate a first Doppler shift associated with the first TRP based on receiving the first reference signal and may estimate a second Doppler shift associated with the second TRP based on receiving the second reference signal. The UE may transmit a first indication of the first Doppler shift and a second indication of the second Doppler shift to the first TRP, the second TRP, or both. In some cases, the UE may receive a first Doppler pre-compensated downlink transmission from the first TRP and a second Doppler pre-compensated downlink transmission from the second TRP based on transmitting the indications of the Doppler shifts.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, signaling may be impacted by Doppler shifts associated with communications between a user equipment (UE) and one or more devices in the system. To account for the Doppler shifts, the UE may receive a Doppler shift measurement configuration to use for estimating one or more Doppler shift parameters associated with one or more reference signals transmitted from the one or more transmission reception points (TRPs). The measurement configuration may include a measurement restriction parameter which indicates a number of durations that the UE may use to estimate the Doppler shift parameters. The UE may generate and transmit a measurement report for the estimated Doppler shift parameters according to a determined reporting accuracy and granularity.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control signaling that schedules resources for receiving downlink reference signaling during a time period and for transmitting uplink reference signaling during the time period. The downlink reference signaling may be channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS), while the uplink reference signaling may be sounding reference signals (SRS). The UE may measure, for each of a set of downlink beams associated with the downlink reference signaling, an interference for each of a set of uplink reference signal resources associated with the uplink reference signaling. The UE may transmit a report that indicates an uplink resource restriction associated with one or more of the set of downlink beams based on the measured interference.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing downlink signal reception. In one aspect, a wireless device may receive, from a first transmit receive point (TRP) and a second TRP, a tracking reference signal (TRS) port in a combined signal. The wireless device may receive a first synchronization signal block (SSB) from the first TRP and a second SSB from the second TRP. In some implementations, the wireless device may determine an SSB for the second TRP based on a combined SSB and an SSB associated with the first TRP. The wireless device may determine a large scale channel property for each TRP based on the TRS and the respective SSBs, and may adjust a downlink signal reception from each of the first TRP and the second TRP based on the respective large scale channel properties.

In some examples, a UE may receive an indication of a set of sounding reference signal (SRS) parameters corresponding to a set of SRS resources for transmitting SRSs, where the set of SRS resources may refer to frequency, or time, or both. In some examples, the SRS parameters may include, among other examples, a frequency allocation, a frequency overlap parameter, a number of allocated symbols, a comb value, a cyclic shift, a comb offset, a frequency hopping parameter, a repetition parameter, a symbol grouping parameter, or any combination thereof. The UE may determine an SRS configuration for the one or more SRSs based on the set of SRS parameters and transmit the one or more SRSs based on the configuration. In some examples, the SRS configuration includes a configuration for SRS frequency hopping, or SRS repetition, or both.

In some implementations, a user equipment (UE) may use different SRS ports, different antenna ports, different numbers and sizes of SRS resources, different periodicities, different offsets, different transmission comb values, and/or different transmission comb offset values for SRS transmissions on different frequency subbands of the frequency hopping pattern to ensure that sounding operations cover all antennas of the UE, cover the entire frequency range of interest, and provide sufficiently dense SRS transmissions from which a base station can determine the best channel for DL transmissions while also using a minimum amount of SRS resources and consuming minimal power in the UE.

A UE may receive a configuration of a reference signal resource set (e.g., a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set) associated with an antenna switching usage type. The UE may receive a reference signal resource indicator (e.g., an SRS resource indicator (SRI)) associated with a codebook-based uplink transmission. The UE may select a resource of the reference signal resource set for transmitting a reference signal (e.g., an SRS) based on receiving the reference signal resource indicator. The UE may transmit the reference signal over the resource of the reference signal resource set. In some cases, the UE may transmit a codebook-based uplink transmission based on transmitting the reference signal over the resource.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to transmission of a single CSI report that includes time domain channel information obtained from a plurality of CSI-RSs received by a UE over time. For example, each of the CSI-RSs may be associated with a different respective time resource (e.g., each CSI-RS is received at a different respective time). The UE may obtain a plurality of CSI values based on the plurality of CSI-RSs and generate the time domain channel information from the plurality of CSI values. In some examples, the time domain channel information includes the plurality of CSI values. In other examples, the time domain channel information includes compressed channel information based on the plurality of CSI values. A base station may then utilize the time domain channel information included in the CSI report for scheduling downlink data transmissions to the UE.

In an example, a first network node such as a base station or a user equipment (UE) may determine to communicate with a second network node (e.g., UE or base station) via a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) system using full-duplex communications. The first network node may transmit, to an RIS controller of the RIS system, an indication that the first network node will communicate with the second network node using the full-duplex communications.
