    Abstract: In some examples of the disclosure a tracking label may be used for packages that automatically activates when applied to a package and deactivates when the package is opened. The tracking label may include a Bluetooth Low Energy circuit printed on a single use label that is activated when an adhesive backing of the label is removed and deactivated when opening the package tears an end of life tab connected to the label.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are techniques for drug delivery measurement. A medicine delivery device includes a cartridge for storing a medicine, a needle assembly coupled to a bottom of the cartridge, a piston located in the cartridge for pushing the medicine to dispense the medicine from the cartridge through the needle assembly, and a sensor configured to measure a distance between the piston and the bottom of the cartridge. The sensor includes a triangulation-based distance measurement unit, a resonant frequency-based distance measurement unit, a time-of-flight-based distance measurement unit, or a frequency-modulated continuous-wave time-of-flight-based distance measurement unit.

    Abstract: Disclosed are electronic devices for detecting contact or close proximity to an object to be detected. An electronic device includes a capacitive sensor enclosed by a housing and a controller coupled to the capacitive sensor, where the controller is configured to detect contact or close proximity to an object to be detected, and where the capacitive sensor includes a capacitor with a sensor electrode. The sensor electrode is separated from an outer surface of the housing by the housing. At least a portion of the housing includes a partially conductive material and the sensor electrode is in conductive contact with the partially conductive material, or the sensor electrode is in conductive contact with an electrically conductive element on an inner surface of the housing or at least partially embedded in the housing.
