A method by a wireless communication device is described. The method includes determining whether the wireless communication device is moving. The method also includes setting a low advertising rate for transmitting advertising packets in response to determining that the wireless communication device is moving. The method further includes transmitting one or more advertising packets at the low advertising rate.

Sensor data characterizing an event associated with a movable object is received. Based on the sensor data, an objective from a plurality of predefined objectives for monitoring the movable object is selected. A series of operational states having increasing power requirement levels is transitioned through. At each operational state, whether the selected objective is achievable using a respective method associated with the respective operational state and respective power requirement level is determined. A system, method, and smart case for managing wireless earpieces. The wireless earpieces are detected proximate the smart case. The power utilized by the wireless earpieces is lowered in response to detecting the wireless earpieces proximate the smart case. The wireless earpieces are charged utilizing a battery of the smart case in response to determining the wireless earpieces require charging.

The invention relates to transmitting a sequence of sets of data, from a communication device to an access point of a wireless communication network, through at least one radio communication channel so as to improve radio communication quality in order to cope with environmental condition changes and/or location changes of the communication device and/or changes of usage of the communication device in terms of mobility. For each set of data, a value of at least one parameter to be used by the communication device for transmission of said set of data is determined by selecting, according to the order of said set of data in the séquence, in a list of predetermined values of said at least one parameter, a corresponding value. The number of occurrences of each predetermined value in the list is determined according to a probability that the sélection of said predetermined value leads to a transmission of a set of data with at least one quality criteria fulfilling at least one predefined condition. Each set of data is then transmitted, through the at least one radio communication channel, according to the value of said at least one parameter.
