Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von naphthenischen Prozessölen, die einen hohen Anteil an naphthenischen Kohlenstoffatomen von 20 bis 80 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 65 bis 80 Gew. % und einen geringen Gehalt an polycyclischen Aromaten von weniger als 3 Gew.-%, bestimmt nach IP 346, aufwei¬ sen, durch Hydrierung eines Prozessöledukts mit einem hohen Gehalt an polycyclischen Aromaten. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ermöglicht es, Sekun- därextrakte, wie sie bei der Produktion von kennzeichnungsfreien Prozessölen anfal¬ len, auch im Gemisch mit Primärextrakten, wirtschaftlich sinnvoll zunutzen. Die erhal¬ tenen Prozessöle sind ebenfalls kennzeichnungsfrei, so dass die Verwendung von PCA-haltigen Prozessölen reduziert werden kann und weniger dieser Stoffe in die Umwelt gelangen. Hierdurch werden die Umwelt und insbesondere die Gesundheit weniger belastet. Zu dem lassen sich die Ausgangsstoffe so einer anderen Verwen¬ dung zuführen und müssen nicht mehr dem Heizöl zu gegeben werden. Durch die Vermeidung von Heizöl wird auch der C02-Ausstoß reduziert. Auch lassen sich durch die direkte Hydrierung von DAE durch das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren hochwertige naphthenische Prozessöle erhalten. Die erhaltenen Prozessöle enthalten überra- sehend hohe Anteile an naphthenischen Kohlenwasserstoffverbindungen. Weiterhin ist Gegenstand der Erfindung die Verwendung der erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Prozessöle als Weichmacher oder Extenderöl für Klebstoffe oder als Substanz bei der Fettproduktion.

Use of a double bond-containing hydrofluoroolefin refrigerant causes a problem that it generates hydrogen fluoride by cleavage and decomposition under influence of oxygen, leading to degradation of the materials and the refrigeration oil used in the refrigeration apparatus and causing troubles in the refrigeration apparatus. It is possible to provide a high-reliability longer-lasting refrigeration apparatus by inexpensive method, by using a double bond-containing hydrofluoroolefin refrigerant in a refrigerating cycle having a refrigerant circulation route extending from a compressor 1, via a condenser 2, an expansion mechanism 3, and an evaporator 4, back to the compressor 1 that contains an ester-based refrigeration oil containing an unsaturated fatty acid as a constituent fatty acid.

The invention relates to the use of vegetable oil having a natural viscosity index (VI) of greater than or equal to 200, said oil having a portion of monounsaturated fatty acids of at least 80%, a portion of double unsaturated fatty acids of 1 - 10% at maximum, and a portion of triple unsaturated fatty acids of less than 1%, preferably less than 0.5% and particularly preferably less than or equal to 0.1%, as a pressure medium in hydraulic systems and/or as transmission fluid. Part of the vegetable oil can be used in the form of an unsaturated ester of the vegetable oil. It can also contain at least one additive in a portion of 2 - 5% weight, selected from anti-oxidants, copper deactivators, anti-corrosion agents, wear protection agents and/or anti-foaming agents. The shear stability of the vegetable oil used according to the invention equals 0.7% or less, measured over 20 hours.

A hydrogenation process for producing high monoene compositions is disclosed. In particular, a catalyst comprising basic copper carbonate is used for the selective hydrogenation of oils that contain unsaturated fatty acyl components such as unsaturated vegetable oils. Hydrogenation according to the methods of the invention yield high monoene compositions that are useful for industrial applications, such as lubricants.
