Abstract:
The present invention is related to the field of musical instruments, especially percussion instruments. The present invention describes a portable drum kit that allows easy transportation and assembly for the most diverse locations.
Abstract:
A compact transportable drum set includes a bass drum; a snare drum; at least one tom drum; at least one cymbal; and a throne. The compact transportable drum set is compactable to a compact transportable single package with the bass drum, the snare drum, at least one tom drum, at least one cymbal, and the throne vertically aligned and defining an envelope volume less than 8 cubic feet and weighing less than 60 lbs.
Abstract:
The inventive technology may retate to a retention apparatus (1) that in at least one embodiment comprises a compression sleeve element (2) established at least partially 5 around portions of a first elongated member (6) that telescopes from a larger elongated member (8) in which it may nest. A relative motion obstruction element (4) may disallow only certain types of motion, e.g., rotational and axial, of the compression sleeve element relative to the elongated members around which it may be at least partially established. As it instead may be the compression enhancement element (3) - which may be used to 10 generate a retaining compression force element - that prevents perpendicular displacement of the compression sleeve element, deactivation and effective disengagement of the compression enhancement element may allow for a quick removal of the compression sleeve element without requiring that it be slid off an end of either elongated member.
Abstract:
A water music device is provided. In one embodiment, the device permits a child to play a song wherein the different tones of the song are generated by tubes filled to different levels using any liquid, such as water. In another embodiment, the water music device may be one or more water drum devices.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device according to patent claim 1 (Fig. 1), comprising a percussion unit (3) which functions as an acoustic percussion damper between the striker (10) and the resonant body (1), acting as a spring-supported or elastic element and as a substrate material of the percussion element (2). The present invention can be used to flexibly convert any percussion mallet into a universal mallet (mallets with more than one material characteristic). The percussion unit (3) can also be used as a percussion mallet frame (3) (Fig. 2); in this case, it performs the function both as a flexible element which changes the sound of the actual strike of the percussion mallet, and, if necessary, as a substrate material for a percussion element (2). The percussion mallet frame can be mounted, on account of its elastic properties, on mallets with differing diameters and disassembled at any time. The percussion mallet frame (3) can also be fitted with a percussion unit (2), as required.
Abstract:
Novel hardware is disclosed for supporting drums. The hardware is of a hinged construction and has one part of the hinge connectable to an external support, e.g., J-rods on a fixed support or a marching drum carrier, and another part of the hinge connectable to the shell of a drum or to the tension rods on a drum or to other hardware on the drum. The drum hardware and drum secured thereon is preferably supported on a vest type carrier or a T-bar carrier having a plurality of separate parts removable from each other and formed of a rigid light metal such as magnesium, aluminum or titanium. Special padding is provided on the shoulder straps, belly plate portion and other parts where cushioning is needed. One embodiment is universally adjustable. Some of the vests or T-bar carriers have cymbal supporting hardware adjustable carried on a fluted, vertically oriented tube. Special hardware is shown for supporting cymbals.
Abstract:
Musical toy building elements to make a plurality of combination of sounds comprising of a plurality of walls, a top lid and a bottom cap to make an inner space between them, wherein at least two of said walls, said lid and said cap having releasable couplers, and wherein said releasable couplers selected from a group of male and female couplers,, hook and loop couplers or magnetic connectors, and wherein said block having percussion musical instruments to produce sounds, said musical instrument being installed on the lid, or on the walls or in the inner space of the block and said musical instrument being detachably mounted on the block or being an integral element of the building block.
