Abstract:
The method for transmitting a data stream from a first device (40) able to emulate touch and touch release on a touchscreen (31) of a second device (30). The touchscreen state is switching between two different states by a generation of a modification of the capacitive state of at least a first area of the touchscreen, the method comprises: •generating a sequence of touches (TS) and touch releases (R) defining a sequence of state transitions, a first value of bit being encoded by a first duration (ta) defined between two state transitions and a second value of bit being encoded by a second duration (tb) defined between two state transitions; •generating a sequence of events in the second device (30),; •retrieving a bit stream by analyzing each measured duration by the second device between two successive events of the sequence of events.
Abstract:
System and method for managing access control rules in a multi-application environment. Access control rules are managed in a secure element issuer security domain. When a method invocation attempting access to a rule, a verification is performed to ensure that the calling manager application is located in a security domain corresponding to the access control rule. Other systems and methods are disclosed.

The present invention relates to a shopping apparatus, provided to a customer by a shop for the duration of a purchase session and destined to be carried by the customer inside the shop during the purchase session. Said shopping apparatus comprises connection means (11a and 11b) to a customer-bound active contactless payment token (13) and a power supply (17) to power the active contactless payment token (13) when connected. The power supply (17) comprises a rechargeable battery, connectors (19) to connect to a deposit station where it is deposited after use by the customer, and means to recharge the power supply through a power supply line through the connectors (19) while deposited.
Abstract:
A method of folding and stacking a strip of seal-wrapped chip card segments, said method comprising the following steps : a strip of seal-wrapped chip card segments is forwarded (2) towards a folding machine comprising a first and a second paddle wheel meshing together; the chip card segments are one after another pinched (4) between a paddle of the first paddle wheel and a paddle of the second paddle wheel; the chip card segments are released (6) and pushed forward towards a stack support; the fan-folded strip of seal-wrapped chip card segments is stacked (8) against the stack support.
Abstract:
A security document having a first side (11) and a second side (12), the security document comprising a first pattern (31) and a second pattern (32) located closer to the second side (12) than the first pattern (31), the first pattern (31) and the second pattern (32) overlapping such that the overlapping area defines a shape of a security pattern (40).The first pattern (31) comprises first single fluorescent substance adapted to emit first visible light (61), and the second pattern (32) comprises second single fluorescent substance adapted to emit second visible light (62).When the security pattern (40) is irradiated from the direction of the first side (11) the first visible light (61) dominates the second visible light (62) at the first excitation radiation (51) and the second visible light (62) dominates the first visible light (61) at the second excitation radiation (52).
Abstract:
A plasma display panel is a pure linear display and does not provide a nonlinear gamma behaviour like a CRT so that an artificial gamma function has to be applied to the signal in digital form. This gamma function increases the quantization steps in the dark areas whereas the quantization steps will be reduced in the luminous reas. The basic idea is to apply an adaptive noise filtering after the gammatization process. The adaptive filtering is a specific filtering which is adapted to the gammatization quantization noise. In other words, the filtering will be maximum for dark areas and its efficacy will be automatically decreased when the luminance of the area is increasing.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of and a device for processing digital images. The device is such that, the images (M'i, M''i) being transmitted from a server (202) to a decoder (208, 206) using various modes of display, the images being coded in a dependent manner such that the coding of a first image is used to code a second image. The method is such that the order of transmission of the images from the server to the decoder is determined as a function of the dependence of these images and the mode of display requested by the decoder.
Abstract:
The invention relates to VHF adapters for cable networks of the ODU type. It consists in using two conversion chains, up and down, in which a very stable single reference oscillator (403) drives means (404, 405, 410, 423) of generating the VHF and IF local frequencies common to these two conversion chains. A very selective surface wave filter (417) makes it possible to reject the frequency of the local oscillator at the level of the first intermediate frequency. It makes it possible to obtain a DOCSIS compatible millimetre MWS ODU whose frequency stability and spectral purity satisfy the constraints of the cable standard without undertaking spectral inversion of the signals transmitted and received.
