The compression assembly (100) may be attached to a first wall member (30) of a vibratory screening machine (10) and the pin assembly (200) may be attached to a second wall member (40) of the vibratory screening machine (10) opposite the first wall member (30) such that the compression assembly (100) is configured to assert a force against a first side portion of a screen assembly (20) and drive a second side portion of the screen assembly (20) against the pin (210) of the pin assembly (200). The pin assembly (200) may include a pin (210) that is internally or externally mounted and that is adjustable and/or replaceable.

摘要: A gumbo separator (10) has a continuous, inclined, moving screen belt (11) which rides on and is supported by a perforated backing plate (12). The desirable portion of drilling fluids fed to the gumbo separator (10) passes through the screen belt (11) and backing plate (12) and may be further processed to remove drill cuttings. The gumbo, containing gummy hydrated clays, are conveyed off the screen belt (11) to the reserve pit. The gumbo separator (10) provides a self cleaning screen belt (11), using a counter-rotaing belt cleaning brush (21). A spray bar (22) back-washes the screen belt (11) with high pressure drilling mud to remove any gumbo lodged in the screen belt openings.

The polyurethane screen has openings having a smallest length in a range from approximately 0.044 mm to approximately 4.0 mm. The screen assembly is configured to be removably attachable to an attrition screening apparatus. The frame has a perimeter that is a circle, square, rectangle, triangle, pentagon, hexagon, or other multi-sided polygon, and the screen may have similarly shaped apertures. The frame includes a support grid structure bounded by the perimeter and the screen may either be attached only to the perimeter of the frame, or may be attached to the perimeter of the frame and to one or more locations of the support grid structure. The screen includes uniaxial or biaxial reinforcement members (404a) that are integrally molded with the screen, and the tensioned screen may include tension along a direction that is parallel to, or perpendicular to, a direction of the reinforcement members. A disclosed method includes applying tension to a molded polyurethane screen and attaching the tensioned molded polyurethane screen to the frame.

A disclosed wear protective covering (2502), made of a flexible material, provides wear protection to the removable support structure.
