摘要: An apparatus that generates vibrational motion is disclosed. The apparatus includes a first mass, a second mass, a drive system, and a control system. The first mass is eccentrically mounted on, and configured to rotate about, a first shaft. The second mass is eccentrically mounted on, and configured to rotate about, a second shaft, with first and second shafts sharing a common axis. The drive system imparts rotational motion to first and second shafts, and the control system controls rotational frequencies, directions, and initial angles of the first and second masses. Linear, elliptical, or circular vibratory motion of the apparatus may be induced by controlling such rotational properties of the first and second masses. The apparatus may include a measurement device that measures angular position and/or velocity of the first and second masses. The control system may control the vibrational motion based on measurements taken by the measurement device.

摘要: Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compositions, methods for producing TPU compositions, methods of using TPU compositions, and apparatuses produced therefrom are disclosed. Disclosed TPU compositions include a thermoplastic polyurethane polymer, a heat stabilizer, a flow agent, and a filler material. The filler may be a glass fiber. Disclosed TPU compositions have improved thermal stability and improved flow properties suitable for injection molding of articles of manufacture having a large plurality of fine openings or pores. Articles produced from the composition have superior thermal stability, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance. Example articles include screening members for vibratory screening machines.

摘要: A disclosed screening apparatus (10) includes a subgrid, and a screen element (81100) attached to the subgrid (8200) via laser welding at a plurality of attachment positions such that, under vibrational excitation, the screen element has a pre-determined profile of vibrational motion relative to the subgrid. The screen element may be attached at a maximal number of attachment locations to the subgrid to minimize relative motion of the screen element and the subgrid under vibrational excitation, or the screen element may be attached a sub-set of the maximal number of attachment locations to allow vibrational motion of the screen element relative to the subgrid. A disclosed method may include attaching a plurality of screen elements to a respective plurality of subgrids, attaching the plurality of subgrids to one another to form a screening pre-assembly, and cutting edges of the screening pre-assembly to form the screen assembly having a perimeter with a pre-determined shape.

摘要: A material separation system is disclosed that may include a vibratory shaker, a centrifuge, a sensor, and/or a processor circuit. The vibratory shaker may be configured to separate a solid-liquid mixture into a first solids-containing component and a shaker effluent. The sensor may be configured to measure a property of one or more of the solid-liquid mixture, the first solids-containing component, the shaker effluent, and the second solids-containing. A well-performance analysis system may be configured to analyze mud reports of drilling rigs within a geographic basin to determine which rigs are performing inefficiently. The system may allow recommendations and send control signals to improve the efficiency of the solid-liquid separation system. The system may allow an operator to view agglomerated well performance data to identify which rigs are performing below a geographic basin baseline and make informed decisions to improve the functioning of a solid-liquid separation system associated with one or more drilling rigs.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for screening are provided. Embodiments include a screen basket (1) apparatus for screening material, comprising a grid frame (1510) having a plurality of openings arranged in a lattice and a plurality of screening cartridge assemblies (1610) affixed to the grid frame (1510) to cover the respective openings of the grid frame (1510). The screening cartridge assembly (1610) includes a case (1630) and a screen assembly (2000) fitted into the case (1630), and may be affixed to a set of transversal members (1512) of the grid frame (1510). The case (1630) may be formed of a single injection molded piece integrally formed by injection molding one of a polyurethane or a thermoset polymer. The screening elements together form a generally continuous screening surface across the exterior of the grid frame (1510), which reduces blinding and is resistant to wear and tear.
