Abstract: A method is provided for sharing web browsing contents. The method includes a first terminal building a wireless local area network with a second terminal through a mobile terminal which is set as a wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) hotspot, where the second terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot (S201). The method also includes the first terminal obtaining an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the first terminal in the wireless local area network which is allocated by the Wi-Fi hotspot and receiving an IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network sent by the Wi-Fi hotspot (S202). Further, the method includes the first terminal establishing a communication channel with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the received IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network (S203) and sharing web browsing contents in real-time with the second terminal through the communication channel using network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot (S204).
