Abstract:
A digital collaborative publishing system and associated method of use, the system being configured to store one or more format-neutral text documents and a plurality of format templates, each format template comprising formatting information for formatting text documents. The format-neutral text documents are separate from the plurality of format templates. The system is configured to selectively apply a format template from the plurality of format templates to the at least one format-neutral text document in order to produce, save, store and/or display at least one formatted document.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method comprising: generating a modified description from an initial description of a set of visual presentations of data, by replacing at least one visual presentation in the set with a visual presentation of a textual key; generating a first render of the data based on the initial description; generating a second render of the data based on the modified description; identifying a first portion in the first render, the first portion encompassing visual display of data of the at least one visual presentation; replacing, using a computing device, a second portion in the second render with the first portion, the second portion encompassing visual display of the textual key.
Abstract:
An SVG system for creating an SVG bundle of svg elements that adhere to a theme is provided. The SVG system accesses svg elements that are to be included in the bundle and accesses theme attributes of the theme. For each svg element, the SVG system retrieves the svg element, establishes a name for the svg element, modifies the svg element to use values for the theme attributes as specified by the theme, and stores the svg element and the established name in an SVG bundle. To use the SVG bundle, a web page includes a specification of values for theme attributes and a reference to an svg element. When the web page is rendered, the svg element is inserted into the web page at the location of the reference and is processed based on values of the theme attributes to generate a graphic for the web page.
Abstract:
A unified content publishing system permits packaging and publishing of content items to multiple sites at once. Content items are grouped together using content groupings. A single content grouping may be assigned for publication through multiple sites. The content grouping may furthermore be assigned template data and layout data for generating a content package comprising information about the content items in the content grouping. To simplify publication, the template data and layout data may be used to publish the content grouping across all sites to which the content grouping has been assigned. Content packages may be manipulated across multiple sites simply by editing the content grouping, the assigned template data, and/or the assigned layout data. A construct referred to herein as a placeholder facilitates the above mappings. Subsites may be generated for different language profiles or other attributes, and placeholders may be pushed to all subsites having specified attributes.
Abstract:
A solution for managing branding for an entity is provided. The solution can generate a brand style guide by analyzing electronic entity identity resources, which are representative of one or more branding strategies for the entity. The analysis can include extracting entity brand attributes from each electronic entity identity resource. Illustrative entity brand attributes can include one or more of: image data, font data, color data, or text. An ad hoc style guide, which can include at least one branding strategy for the entity can be generated and provided for presentation to a user.
Abstract:
A method of computerized presentation of a document set view for auditing information of a set of documents. The method includes the initial step of receiving on a computer a selection of an original document. The original document has multiple pages with each of the pages of the original document having corresponding page content. A selection is received from the user of a first region a page of the original document. This process is repeated to retrieve a text string from all of the pages. An addendum document with multiple pages is received. A text string is retrieved from the pages of the addendum document without user intervention. A document set view is provided using the retrieved text stings and displayed for the user to update the associated information and thus allowing for the user to perform a data audit of the automated portion of the process.
Abstract:
Creating notes related to communications may be provided. In some examples, an application, such as a communication management application, may display the communications. The communication management may detect an input to generate a note related to a communication and may provide a note interface to capture the note. The note may be captured on the note interface. The note may be saved as a related communication associated with the communication. The communication management application may display the related communication.
Abstract:
Spatial organization of communications is provided. A communication application initiates operations to present a visual representation of a communication on a two-dimensional canvas after a detected intent to do as such. In response to the intent, the visual representation is generated and displayed on the two-dimensional canvas. A detected interaction with the visual representation triggers a modification of the communication based on the interaction.
Abstract:
A semantic based design may be provided for a document. An application, such as a document processing application, generates previews of the document and presents the previews of the document on a user interface (UI) displayed on a display device. A selection of a preview from the previews is detected. A semantic style associated with the selected preview is applied to the document. The semantic style includes formatting configurations to be applied to the document. In response to detecting a save operation on the document, the semantic style associated with the selected preview is saved.
