The present invention relates to a tyre comprising at least one structural element including a crosslinked elastomeric material obtained by crosslinking a crosslinkable elastomeric composition comprising: (a) 100 phr of at least one elastomeric polymer; (b) from about 0.1 phr to about 120 phr of at least one reinforcing filler; (c) from about 0.01 phr to about 20 phr of at least one oxetane derivative; and (d) from about 0.01 phr to about 10 phr of at least one amino acid. Preferably, said structural element is selected from: tread band, tread underlayer, bead filler, sidewalls, and sidewall inserts.

A vibrating screen assembly supported by springs is provided which is used to size separate rock and other material. The present invention includes increasing the natural frequency of the screen assembly by stiffening the individual screen decks of the screen assembly, to enable the screen assembly to operate at higher operating speeds without prematurely failing.

Hydrophobizing agents for use in making composite lignocellulose products are provided. In at least one specific embodiment, a method for making a composite product can include contacting a plurality of lignocellulosic substrates with a resin and a hydrophobizing agent to form a mixture. The hydrophobizing agent can include one or more vegetable waxes, one or more alkaline metal alkylsiliconates, one or more alkyl ketene dimers, one or more organosilanes, one or polysiloxanes, one or more Fischer-Tropsch waxes, one or more fluorinated polyurethanes, one or more fluorinated acrylate polymers, one or more olefin metathesis products, or any mixture thereof. The method can also include at least partially curing the mixture to produce a composite product.
