Abstract:
An article of flexible furniture having a core formed from a plurality of laminar panels of a flaccid material and each panel having a pair of oppositely directed major faces, adjacent faces of said panels being inter-connected to provide a cellular structure upon movement of abutting faces away from each other, a pair of supports at opposite ends of said core and connected to respective ones of said faces, said supports being self-supporting to provide rigidity to said core whereby said supports may be moved apart to expand said cellular and extend the length of said partition.
Abstract:
An insulated wall panel for use in building wall sections, said wall panel having a front face, a back face, and two opposite mating sides, each mating side being shaped to mate with the opposite mating side of an other insulated wall panel for mating assembly in a wall section, the insulating panel comprising a structural member extending along one of the mating sides, the structural member including a rear beam and a front beam, with cooperating flanges that are separated from each other by an insulating component
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a combined desking (20) and panelling (2) system which provides an effective means for subdividing office space and defining work areas. Work surfaces (30) are provided and can be independently supported or supported by the panelling system. Power and communication wires and cables are distributed through and between the desking and panelling systems.
Abstract:
The partition described is formed by assembling vertical panels (P1) along their vertical edges. Each panel is formed by assembling two half panels (P'1, P''1) into a single panel by means of a fastening device comprising two profiled framing elements (E) in the form of angles which cover the side edges of the panel and by clamping means (115) capable of exerting a clamping force on the two elements (E) which brings them closer together. The invention makes it possible to incorporate circuitry in the partition without affecting the mobility of the latter.
Abstract:
A pre-fabricated panel wall is composed of posts, each of which consists of two profile bodies (2), preferably of wood, of substantially T-shaped cross-section, which are kept together by two sheet metal elements (1) bent to form a channel and having side edge portions engaging narrow slits in the central portions of the profile bodies which face each other. The sheet elements in combination with the edge flanges (4) of the profile bodies form grooves (3) in which side edge portions of panels (5) are received. The panel wall is easy to erect and inexpensive to manufacture because it permits extensive standardization of the constituent elements.
Abstract:
A system for partitioning an environment (S) including a ceiling (C) defining a first plane (π) and a floor (F) or false floor (FF), the system (1) comprising at least one first upper longitudinal profile (50) defining a first axis (X) couplable with the ceiling (C); at least one second lower longitudinal profile (80) defining a second axis (Χ') operatively couplable with the floor (F) or false floor (FF) placed in correspondence to said at least one first upper longitudinal profile (50); at least one fixed partition wall (20, 30) having a first upper portion (20', 30') operatively couplable with the upper longitudinal profile (50) and a first lower portion (20", 30") operatively couplable with the second lower longitudinal profile (80); at least one door (40) having an upper portion (44) operatively couplable with the upper longitudinal profile (50) and an opposite lower portion (45) facing the floor (F) or false floor (FF); at least one first and one second accessory (60, 63) selectively engageable with the upper longitudinal profile (50) to respectively couple the fixed wall (20, 30) and the door (40) with the upper longitudinal profile (50) thereof. The fixed wall (20, 30) and the door (40) are slidably coupled with the upper longitudinal profile (50) to slide along a plane (π') substantially perpendicular to the plane (π) so as to allow a user to place the fixed wall (20, 30) and the door (40) with the respective lower portions (20", 30", 45) aligned along a line substantially parallel to the floor (F) or false floor (FF), the line having a predetermined distance (h) from the floor (F) or false floor (FF).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a modified OSB board (oriented strand board) (10) with an upper side and a lower side, wherein the upper and/or lower side of the board (1) are coated with at least two paper layers (2, 3), wherein the first paper layer (2) is impregnated with at least one resin and the second paper layer (3) is a raw paper layer. The invention relates further to a construction wall (20) for a house building system, to a partition wall (30) for a house building system and a house building system (40).
Abstract:
A moveable and demountable wall panel system that is secured between a floor of a room and a ceiling rail secured to a ceiling of the room. The wall panel includes a lower trim assembly that is both removably connected to a wall panel of the wall panel system and pivotably connected to a floor channel of the wall panel system. The lower trim panel is further configured to adjust in conjunction with wall panel height adjustments made by one or more height adjustment assemblies.
