L'invention se rapporte à un vitrage (1 ) latéral d'un moyen de transport, en particulier vitrage de train, ledit vitrage étant un vitrage multiple, fixe, à fenêtre (2) ouvrable, ledit vitrage comprenant au moins une face intermédiaire (12, 22) de substrat qui comporte dans une partie du vitrage située sous ladite fenêtre d'une part une feuille de verre principale (15) et d'autre part une feuille de matière plastique principale (16) qui est située en contact entre la face intermédiaire (12, 22) et la feuille de verre principale (15), sans que la feuille de verre principale et la feuille de matière plastique principale soient au contact de ladite structure de cadre de vitrage (3).

A wall comprising an upper horizontal member to be fixed to a ceiling, a lower horizontal member to be fixed to a floor, and at least one panel provided between the upper horizontal member and the lower horizontal member, characterised in that the lower horizontal member comprises at least two longitudinally extending, elongate profiles of U-shaped cross-section, wherein the first profile is fixed to the floor with a base part of its U-shaped cross-section, wherein the second profile is placed on the first profile, wherein base parts of the U-shaped cross-sections of the two profiles face away from each other, wherein the base part of the U-shaped cross- section of the second profile comprises a springy clamping profile mounted thereon, and wherein the panel comprises a lip fixed to its bottom edge, which lip extends inward and which is clampingly provided between the base part of the U-shaped cross-section of the second profile and the springy clamping profile so as to connect the panel to the lower horizontal member.

The window for a building structure has a window frame (3), a sash (2) and a pane (1) including at least one sheet of glass or other glazing material. The sash (2) is moveable relative to the frame (3) by means of a hinge connection including a set of frame hinge parts (32) and a set of sash hinge parts (22). The sash (2) carrying the pane (1) includes at least a first element (4) surrounding the pane (1) and formed as a moulded border element which at least partially encases an edge of the pane (1). The first element (4) has at least one functional face to which the set of sash hinge parts (22) of the hinge connection is adapted to be connected. The sash (2) may include further elements (5, 6, 7, 8) for insulating, covering and/or aesthetical purposes.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Rahmen für Isolierglasscheiben mit wenigstens zwei, insbesondere rechteckigen, Glasscheiben (4, 4'), ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung und eine Isolierglasscheibe. Der Rahmen umfasst ein Abstandhalterprofil (1), das ein mit dem Abstandhalterprofil (1) einstückig ausgebildetes Stegprofil (2) mit wenigstens einem Steg (3, 3') aufweist. Der erfindungsgemäße Rahmen ist dadurch weitergebildet, dass das Abstandhalterprofil (1) für einen Eckbereich einer Isolierglasscheibe gebogen ist, wobei der Steg (3, 3') an der Außenseite der Biegung angeordnet ist und in dem gebogenen Eckbereich eine Aussparung (8) im Stegprofil (2) vorgesehen ist, in der die Höhe des Stegs (3, 3') gegenüber einer Längsseite der Isolierglasscheibe verringert ist.

A vacuum insulating glass (IG) unit and/or a method of making the same is/are provided. In certain example embodiments, the edge seal includes at least one metal member located between the opposing substrates (e.g., glass substrates). The at least one metal member may be bonded to the glass substrate(s) via a bonding material such as solder glass, frit and/or the like. The provision of the at least one metal member in the edge seal, between and/or exterior the glass substrates, is advantageous in that this provides for a more flexible edge seal permitting more give and take during window flexing in different environmental conditions. The additional flexibility of the edge seal may reduce the amount of optical distortion caused by flexing of the window, and/or the likelihood of window breakage in certain environmental conditions.

A method of assembling facing panels (1) with a double- glazing- type structure, the method including the steps of placing a first (6) and a second (7) sheet on a central spacer frame (5) to form a central flat body (2) having a lateral peripheral groove (2a) extending about the whole perimeter of the central flat body (2) and substantially coplanar with the lying plane (P) of the central flat body (2); of fixing a number of sections (8) end to end to one another to form a peripheral frame (3), which extends about the peripheral edge of the second sheet (7) to cover the peripheral groove (2a), and is fixed firmly and irremovably to the flat body (2) by structural glue (4) filling the peripheral groove (2a); of spraying with a low- temperature plasma jet the front surface (8b) of the peripheral frame (3) eventually positioned facing the first sheet (6) and contacting the structural glue (4); of fitting the peripheral frame (3) to the peripheral edge of the second sheet (7), so that the front surface (8b) of the peripheral frame (3) is positioned inside the peripheral groove (2a); and of injecting the structural glue (4) into the peripheral groove (2a) to simultaneously glue the various parts firmly and irremovably to one another.

Bei einem Kantenschutzband (1) zum Schutz der Ränder von Mehrfachglasscheiben, insbesondere Brandschutzscheiben, wobei das Kantenschutzband mehrschichtig ausgebildet ist mit einer von einem Silikonpapier (2) abgedeckten Kleberschicht (3), einer Aluminiumfolie (6) mit Kleberschicht (7) sowie einer in der Gebrauchslage nach außen weisenden Gleitfolie (8) aus PET oder PE (Polyethylen), Polyester oder PP (Polypropylen), soll u.a. die Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Beanspruchungen beim Einbau auf Baustellen erhöht werden. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass im Bandinneren eine Schicht (4 oder 9) erhöhter Dämpfungsfähigkeit vorgesehen ist.

Novel building systems, in particular low cost superior strength building assemblies incorporating single or double shear walls, and disaster resistant window attachments are described herein. The inventive building systems are particularly well-suited for adding rooms to existing buildings, such as attached residential room additions, basements, disaster relief housing, and Do-It Yourself (DIY) projects.
