Abstract:
A removable window cover (9) to be mounted onto the exterior surface of a motor vehicle's window, allowing for easy removal of accumulated ice, dirt, and debris. The window cover is secured to the exterior surface of the motor vehicle's window with an adhesive backing. The window cover is removed, with all the accumulated ice, dirt, and debris by grasping a removal tab (3) and peeling the window cover (9) off the window. Furthermore, messages may be printed on the window cover for display. The messages can include graphical designs, request for assistance, personal messages, or advertising.
Abstract:
Heteroaromatic compounds are described, methods for their preparation, pharmaceutical compositions containing them, methods of use, and their use in medicines. In particular, the invention relates to quinazoline and pyridopyrimidine derivatives which exhibit protein tyrosine kinase inhibition.
Abstract:
The invention describes a copolymer with at least one mono- or alpha , omega -dihydroxy-polyolefine and at least one polycarbonate where the content of polyolefine segment is in the range 0,005 - 60 wt.%, methods of preparation and the use of compositions containing the copolymer for light diffusion.
Abstract:
The present invention was created to provide a packing sheet which can contribute to the solution of economic and environmental problems associated with the conventional practice of repeated washings to cope with possible rainfalls, snowfalls or dust deposition during the storage in car yards in the distribution flow from the production of car to the supply to a consumer and can permit, under the maintained expression of the design and color of the exterior of a car, all of the car functions including driving, use of lights, use of window brushes, use of back mirror or radio, filling of fuel or the like. The present invention has the advantages that, at the time of initial shipment, the transport of the car is conducted with the cover sheet attached and at the time of delivery to an individual the cover sheet can be removed to ensure the acquisition of the car in a clean state of car appearance, by providing a detachable transparent cover for a finished vehicle, which covers a finished vehicle over all its exterior surface except underside through heat pressing or sticky adhesive process, and which transparent cover is applied on the vehicle in form of a single integrated sheet except for the entrance for the driver's seats or in form of several sheet pieces, wherein the cover sheet (or sheets) has a predetermined tight adhesion and at the same time an easy detachability.
Abstract:
A protective film (13) for windscreens of vehicles comprises a polypropylene base sheet (16) and an acrylate adhesive layer (18). Film (13) serves to protect the windshield against damage during transport from factory to showroom and can be removed on arrival.
Abstract:
A sunshading system for a vehicle comprises a sunshading screen, a supporting frame, a winding means and a drawing means. Both the winding means and the drawing means are fixed on the body of the vehicle. The sunshading screen, made of a pliable material, is used to cover the main portion of the body and is connected with the drawing means by a drawing cable. The winding means includes a shaft around which the said screen is winded.
Abstract:
A means and method for protecting a windshield (1) from damage and therefore the development of cracks due to stone or other impact on windshields around the peripheral area. An impact resistant barrier (3) is placed around the periphery of the windshield. The barrier is preferably a clear polymeric film, but could be opaque rubber plastic or metal. The barrier is placed on the glass surface and in contact adjacent to the windshield molding (2). The width of the barrier is selected to eliminate the higher incidence of damage to the peripheral area.
Abstract:
A mounting system for an automobile cover containment housing (10) wherein the housing includes a channel (22) extending along a longitudinal axis thereof. A pair of mounting clips (30) are slidably anchored in the channel of the containment housing. The mounting clips have a base (32) at a first end for slidable travel in the channel and have a land section (36) extending from said base with a slot (42) formed therein. A flexible strap (44) is attached to the slotted end of each of the mounting clips. Each of the straps are fitted with a detachable clip (48) at the other end. A pair of permanent mounting clips (50) are adapted to be attached within the trunk compartment (16) of the automobile, preferably along the rear wall (52) thereof to receive the detachable clips carried by the straps. The length of each strap is adjusted to permit the containment housing to rest adjacent the trunk opening with the outer edges of the mounting clips positioned along the outer edge of the trunk. When the trunk lid is closed, the flexible straps are covered thereby and surface portions of the land sections (36) of the mounting clips are snugly engaged by the trunk lid (40). After the cover (4) is removed from the automobile and reeled within the containment housing, the trunk lid is raised and the housing (10) is swung in to the trunk for storage purposes or the housing can be removed from the automobile by unsnapping the two detachable clips (48).
Abstract:
A method and device for preventing the ingress of debris into the body of a motor vehicle whilst work is being carried out on the vehicle, comprising securing a hollow flexible tube (9) of plastics material around the edge of one or more of the body openings (4, 5) of the vehicle. The tube (9) is preferably secured by means of doublesided adhesive tape (8), although mechanical clips could be used, and a continuous reel of tubes may be provided, each separated by perforations.
Abstract:
An apparatus for providing sun or weather cover for vehicles, machinery, plant and equipment, characterized by an elongated, one piece, non-rigid cover (20, 21) which is rollably stowed in and deployed from a container (1) mounted in or upon the unit to be covered, the container being of a length substantially less than that of the width of the deployed cover. The cover is accomodated within the container by being drawn during restowing through a folding means (4) which stretches it flat and imparts to it a number of longitudinal folds.
