Abstract:
The invention provides a machine for clearing material, the machine including, a chassis, a body, connected to the chassis, a drive means for driving the machine, and control means, for controlling the machine. In use, a tool attachment can be attached to the body and or chassis of the machine, the tool attachment being controllable by the control means and adapted to clear and or collect material. The machine has a maximum height of approximately 400 millimetres.
Abstract:
A pet waste removal device including an elongated hand held boom having an open bottom shield disposed at a bottom end of the boom for positioning over a pile of animal waste. A motor driven agitator is disposed within the shield and driven by a motor to rotate between a counterclockwise and a clockwise rotation to mechanically break up pet waste. Fluid jet nozzles are supplied water via a garden hose connection and are arranged to direct water jets into the shield to wash away the pet waste as it is broken up by the agitator. A chemical dispenser for dispensing a chemical solution can also be provided.

A chemical dispenser for dispensing a treatment solution is also provided.
Abstract:
An exemplary lawn maintenance device for the raking or collection of leaves or other debris on a grassed surface, comprises a substantially flat, planar device having a top surface, a lower surface, and a wedge-shaped front section affixed thereto, wherein the top surface of the device is substantially flat and planar, and has a transverse groove or slot therein for receiving the blade of a push shovel. Additionally, the wedge-shaped front section has a series of vertical tines forming a comb-like structure at the leading edge of the device, wherein the comb-like structure consists of a series of extending tine portions, separated by open areas cut within the leading surface of the device. The lower surface comprises a series of ridges and grooves. This configuration allows the device to be fitted to the blade of a push shovel, and the combination can be pushed across the surface of a lawn in order to collect leaves and other debris from the lawn.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the average composition of urban waste, composed of plastics, paper, metal, glass, organic material of Municipal Solid Waste (OMMSW), ashes, batteries and humidity contents. OMMSW has been subjected to acidic prehydrolysis (2.5 % of H2SO4 on the dry matter), a prehydrolysate of 12 % of sugars and cellulignin with 12 % of ashes being obtained. Since the OMMSW contains only 30 % of dry matter, one has concluded that the economicity of the process defined as weight of solid matter by cubic meter of reactor improves with the mixture of 50 % of OMMSW and 50 % of biomass (wood, grass, agricultural residues, etc.). With this technique one has achieved 300kg of dry biomass/m3 (DB) of reactor. This requirement is not limiting, since the biomass may be supplied by planting trees in the urban perimeter or planting 1ha of grass for each 1000 inhabitants in the cities surroundings.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and device for the removal of dirt by means of steam and cleaning agent. The cleaning agent is injected in a metered way into the steam and atomized, so that the mixture formed is applied in a gaseous state to the dirt to be rmoved. Such a gaseous mixture has a higher activity than a mixture of steam and droplets of liquid cleaning agent. A device for carrying out the method according to the invention, in particular a low-pressure steam cleaner, is also described.
