Abstract: The present application relates to a brake actuating unit (2) for a brake-by-wire motor vehicle brake system. The second connector (11) is electrically connected with the second electrically controllable pressure supplying device (8). The brake actuating unit further comprises a first cylinder and piston arrangement (3) disposed within the housing (16) and a piston rod (17) extending through a rear face (19) of the housing (16) for transmitting a displacement of a brake pedal (1) to a piston of the first cylinder and piston (3) arrangement.
