The invention concerns a method of producing medicaments in solid form by mixing and melting at least one pharmacologically acceptable polymer binder, at least one pharmaceutical active substance and optionally conventional pharmaceutical additives in the absence of a solvent to form a plastic mixture, and shaping the mixture to form the desired medicament, mixing and melting being carried out in separate stages. The method according to the invention enables high-quality medicaments to be produced in a simple and careful manner.
