Abstract:
A method for producing solid, spherical materials containing at least one biologically active substance that is homogeneously dispersed in an auxiliary agent template by mixing said biologically active substance with one or several auxiliary agents in a melt, extruding and shaping said melt using a nozzle, characterized in that the melt containing the biologically active substance and auxiliary agents is discharged from the nozzle in the form of drops by exciting the nozzle with vibrations and the drops are frozen and solidified by coming into contact with a liquid.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method of producing medicaments in solid form by mixing and melting at least one pharmacologically acceptable polymer binder, at least one pharmaceutical active substance and optionally conventional pharmaceutical additives in the absence of a solvent to form a plastic mixture, and shaping this mixture to form the desired medicament, the mixing, melting and shaping steps being carried out continuously and separately. The method according to the invention enables high-quality medicaments to be produced in a simple and careful manner.

The invention concerns a method of producing medicaments in solid form by mixing at least one pharmacologically acceptable polymer binder, at least one pharmaceutical active substance and optionally conventional pharmaceutical additives, extruding the mixture and shaping the medicament, a pre-mixture being prepared from the components and fed into the extruder. The method according to the invention enables high-quality medicaments to be produced in a simple and careful manner.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method of producing multi-layer medicaments in solid form for oral or rectal administration. At least two substances, which each comprise a thermoplastic, pharmacologically acceptable polymer binder which is soluble or can swell in a physiological environment, at least one of the substances comprising a pharmaceutical active substance, are coextruded and the coextruded multi-layer material is shaped to form the desired medicament.

Abstract:
A process is disclosed for producing filaments from a hydroxy- or aminoalkylmelamine-modified melamine/formaldehyde condensation product. The highly concentrated aqueous solution of a melamine/formaldehyde condensation product is filtered, extruded through a spinning nozzle, the extruded threads are dried in a dry shaft by means of hot air, and the dried threads are processed in a tempering furnace at temperatures that rise progressively up to a maximum temperature from 160 to 250 DEG C, thus hardening the pre-condensed product.

Abstract:
A process is disclosed for continuously producing expandable styrene polymers by polymerising styrene in the presence of expanding agents in three steps: (a) prepolymerising styrene in the mass; (b) dispersing the prepolymer in an aqueous phase; and (c) polymerising the prepolymer in an aqueous suspension.
