The invention relates to a dust filter for purifying air, comprising a filter body that is provided with denaturing substances and that is intended to separate and destroy particles, such as germs, fungi, allergens and other microorganisms. According to the invention, the denaturing substances are integrated into the filter body in combination with an organic additive, a preferred additive being glycerol or a glycerol derivative.

The present invention relates to an air filter arrangement (20) configured to fitin an air flow passage. The air filter arrangement comprises an air filter framework (21), at least one filter medium (22) capable of removing particulate material and/or airborne molecular contamination, AMC, from an air flow received at the air flow passage, and an air filter sensor device(24)that is provided in the air filter framework (21) and configured to determine an operating state of the air filter arrangement. The air filter sensor device (24) includes air flow determining means for determining an air velocity of the air flow at the air filter arrangement (20), wherein the air flow determining means comprises measuring means configured to determine dynamic pressure or a pressure pulse attributable to a vortex pattern induced in the air flow, and in that the air filter framework comprises a structural element (23) configured to induce said vortex pattern. An air cleaning device according to the present invention comprises: a body case forming the external appearance and having a filter installation opening formed on one side of the surface thereof; a drawer including a filter housing disposed within the body case, a frame having a drawer opening through which air passes, and a filter cover coupled to the frame to cover the filter installation opening; and a filter module removably seated on the frame and filtering air having passed through the drawer opening. The drawer can be extracted from the inner space of the filter housing through the filter installation opening.

The present application relates to an apparatus for purifying and/or humidifying air, and a related method for purifying and/or humidifying air. The apparatus comprises a rotary filter (1), a fan (9, 10) for passing air through the rotary filter (1), and a reservoir (4, 5), and wherein the rotation speed of the rotary filter (1) and the settings of the fan (9, 10) depend on the ambient relative humidity and ambient gas pollutant concentration. The apparatus combines the feature of chemisorption with the use of a rotary filter (1), thereby providing an apparatus which is able to purify air and/or regulate the ambient humidity based on humidity levels and levels of a target gas pollutant in the air. The invention removes the need for a pump for liquid transport, removes the need for frequent and expensive filter changes by the user, and instead only requires the user to periodically refresh the filtration solution in the reservoir (4, 5).

A climate controller for controlling both temperature and humidity comprises: an ultrasonic transducer (10) placed in a water container (9), a heater (11), a compressor (4), a condenser (5), a capillary tube (3), an evaporator (6), a control system (7), an inverter (8), a temperature sensor (17), and a humidity sensor (18). The climate controller can be operated in full control mode or standby mode. The full control mode is employed to control both the temperature and humidity in case the room is occupied. The standby mode is employed to only control the relative humidity in case no body in the room and the temperature is governed by the environment. The climate controller can control both the temperature and humidity constant and precise to eliminate dust mites and microbes in the air.
