The present invention relates to a cooling device (1) that comprises a body (2) wherein the beverage cans (K) are stored to be cooled, a loading-unloading opening (3) for loading and unloading the beverage cans (K) inside the body (2), disposed on the upper side of the body (2) so that the user can take the beverage can (K) without stooping down, a storage unit (4) having inclined passageways (S) for the beverage cans (K) loaded from the opening (3) to be moved from above downwards, a transfer unit (5) for transferring the beverage cans (K) in the storage unit (4) from the bottom upwards for delivering to the user from the opening (3) which is actuated by a driving mechanism (10) and a passage orifice (6) disposed between the storage unit (4) and the transfer unit (5) allowing the passage of the beverage cans (K) in the storage unit (4) to the transfer unit (5). The aim is to realize a cooling device (1) occupying a small amount of space and maintaining fast delivery of beverage cans to the user. The transfer unit (5) and driving mechanism (10) are designed appropriately in order to attain this aim.

A product supply management system provides the capability to regulate the delivery of a product into a containment device. The containment device may be part of a product dispenser, such that the product dispenser regulates the delivery of product from a product generator. In a first embodiment, the product level determiners are disposed at varying levels of the containment device, and are in electrical communication with a controller, such that the product level determiners provide information to the controller. This invention further includes a product height profile having multiple time intervals, and a required product level for each time interval. Accordingly, the product supply management system may compare product levels to the product height profile, and determine whether additional product is required. The product height profile may include relative timing device, data set or real-time timing device to control the timing portion of the invention. Alternative embodiments are further provided.

An article dispenser where the structure of an article storage cabinet positioned inside the article dispenser, is used to supplement the structure of at least two sidewalls used to form a housing for the article dispenser. In one preferred embodiment where the article storage container comprises a chest freezer or refrigerator, sidewalls used to form the housing for the dispenser are connected to the top or sidewall structure of the chest freezer or refrigerator for receiving structural support.

A method for dispensing pre-packaged, frozen or heated products from an apparatus (1) that automatically distributes said products, comprises picking up said products from a magazine (7) of said apparatus (1) and sending said products to a dispending zone (4) of said apparatus (1), the method further comprises identifying each product inside said magazine (7) and determining the position of said product inside said magazine (7).

The thermally regulated storage container of the present invention comprises a cabinet housing with an open face. A self-sealing and self aligning cover provides an environmental seal between an insulated storage area within the cabinet housing and an external environment. A modular environmental control unit is removably installed within the cabinet. This unit can control temperature, pressure, humidity or any other environmental condition. A ducting system within the cabinet mates with the environmental control unit. An environmental monitoring system monitors internal conditions of the storage container and provides an input to a control system operable to direct the modular environmental control. This ensures that the desired internal conditions are maintained.

Automatic vending machine for articles of frozen confectionery, comprising an outer body, an outer door and a controlled-environment chamber. Provision is made for the articles of frozen confectionery to be kept in containers of cylindrical, quasi-cylindrical or polyhedral shape. The machine has a controlled-environment chamber at -18 DEG C comprising insulating panels and an inner door, maintained by a refrigeration system and a defrosting system. Also within the chamber there are vertical compartments for the storage of stacked containers, a dispensing device and a discharge hopper leading to an outlet tray. In the outer door there are product selection and cash box mechanisms which monitor money inserted, change and articles of frozen confectionery stocks. In addition to this the machine can be connected by telephone to a central service to request restocking or communicate any damage. The mechanisms mentioned can be used to provide advertising and immediate prizes and an audio system.

The present invention concerns a process for manufacturing savoury or sweet foods based on pastry and dry or wet, liquid, solid or pasty ingredients held in specific sachets. According to the invention, the pastry sachets are processed first in order to make the pastry and spread it over a cooking device, the process being carried out by mechanized, programmed devices. The ingredients sachet is then processed by mechanized, programmable devices. In order to enable the sachet to be opened and its contents to be spread over the cooked, pre-cooked or ready-to-cook pastry, the configuration of the sachet and/or the topographical distribution of the ingredients in the sachet co-operate with the relative movements of the cooking device and direction in which the ingredients are poured, thus enabling a calculated amount of the ingredients to be spread randomly or geometrically.
