The aim of the invention is to provide a simple and cost-effective structure and a secure connection between the components. To this end, the fixing means (33) of the gas jet (30) is formed by at least one projection (34) which can be inserted into at least one guiding channel (35) arranged on the welding torch, and the at least one projection can be displaced along the at least one guiding channel until the abutment surface (38) of the gas jet (30) pushes against a corresponding abutment surface on the welding torch (10) in a sealing manner. A coupling element of the coupling device comprises a fixing pin for engaging in a locking groove on the other coupling element.

The outlet connector (1) comprises at least three cylindrical connection sections (P1 to P3) which are arranged in succession from the outlet end (11) of said outlet connector (1) to the connection end (10) of the outlet connector (1) on the body (30) of the expansion valve. Said connection sections (P1 to P3) are provided with increasing external diameters (D1 to D3). The invention also relates to the use of one such expansion valve to deliver a pressurised gas that is intended to pressurise a food drink, particularly beer or soft drinks. Moreover, the invention relates to a fluid transfer system comprising one such expansion valve and a connector socket having a complementary internal profile.

The other end (24) of the male insert (18) includes a contoured external surface (26) defining an external locking flange (28), and a pair of axially-spaced external circumferential grooves (30) for receiving a pair of O-rings (32) which ultimately sealingly engage complementary cylindrical sections (34) of the housing bore (14) upon insertion of the connector assembly (10) thereinto. Prior to its insertion into the housing bore (14), the connector assembly (10) includes a garter spring (36) which is radially collapsed about the male inserts (18) contoured external surface (26) by an encompassing annular spring guide (38). Upon inserting the connector assembly (10) into the housing bore (14), the spring guide (38) first seats itself against the housing (16) and the garter spring (36) is thereafter displaced by the locking flange (28) from its radially-collapsed pre-insertion position within the spring guide (38) down into the housing bore (14) and, ultimately, into a locking groove (50) formed internally of the housing bore (14). The bottom of the cylinder comprises a bore which is aligned with a conduit of the base plate. The bore in the cylinder bottom forms a valve seat. A spring-operated valve element slides within said bore and comprises a rod provided with a slot or a bore. The rod of the valve element is longer than the bottom thickness. The end of the rod protruding outside the cylinder when closed forms a stop which is in contact with the hydraulic base plate. The cylinder may be separated from the base plate without any flowing of the oil therein since the valve element shuts off automatically the flow. When the cylinder is fixed to the base plate, the oil is free to flow.
