Abstract: A furniture frame part or the like is made from a first, planar laminate (13) of wood or other material. This laminate (13) is bent so as to form a shaped member (16) of single curvature. The shaped member (16) is cut into slices (17) in a direction transverse to the generatrices of the curvature, and from these slices (17) a second laminate is made. This second laminate is bent in a direction so as to form another curvature with generatrices extending generally transversely to the first mentioned generatrices, whereby a furniture frame part or another composite body of double curvature may be made.
