Abstract:
A structure and its adjacent group- segregated outdoor spaces or an arrangement of structures and their adjacent group-segregated outdoor spaces includes at least one structure comprising at least one a unit and at least one b unit. The areas adjacent to the structure or structures are physically separated into a first group- segregated outdoor space and a second group- segregated outdoor space. The first group-segregated outdoor space is associated with the at least one a unit. The second group-segregated outdoor space is associated with the at least one b unit. The areas adjacent to the structure or structures are physically separated by a barrier, whereby the barrier at least partly limits visibility and access between the first and second segregated outdoor areas.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for constructing the supporting skeleton structure of an office building or a single- or multiple-family house from prefabricated concrete parts, wherein the entire building structure only consists of prefabricated concrete elements and only a very short erection time using a crane having a lifting power up to a maximum of 1.5 t is required for assembly. A central aspect of the invention is the arrangement of free-standing and stackable hollow column elements (1) in a hexagonal point pattern, preferably of reinforced concrete, which are screwed reciprocally with threaded rods (6) and with connecting beams (2) grip a supporting storey level, as shown by way of example in Figure 1. The closing of the storey ceiling between the connecting beams (2) may take place with smaller intermediate beams (3) rotated by 60° and with ceiling panels (4) (8) (9). The use of prefabricated elements leads to lower construction costs and enables simple and complete dismantling without destruction of the concrete components. Thus the building skeleton with solid concrete ceilings can be moved to a different location and can be easily expanded or raised at a later stage.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A housing structure for erecting on a ground surface includes a generally helical ramp having at least two lanes for accommodating vehicular traffic in opposing directions, a loop at the highest level of the ramp connecting the at least two lanes. The ramp includes a plurality of habitable units, each at one of a plurality of radial positions with respect to a center of the ramp. The habitable units that share any particular radial position but that are vertically offset are each generally vertically co-aligned in a common multi-level building. In one embodiment, at least one habitable unit includes more than one floor or story. Each habitable unit preferably comprises at least a private garage connected to the ramp with a driveway, and a private living space that may include a rear balcony connected to a front porch by a breezeway.
Abstract:
A prefabricated module has a lateral side to be connected to a plurality of panels and slabs for forming a part of a building. The module (2) includes four walls extending between a floor and a roof to form a rectangular cuboid shape; interior equipment, at least some of which are connected to technical installations (12) arranged within the cuboid shape; and a compartment within the cuboid shape which is provided with waterproof layers on the interior walls and floor for creating a wet area (10) within the module (2).
Abstract:
A building system comprises building module (16, 24) in the shape of a truncated tetrahedron where from a building can be constructed on a horizontal surface (18) by making horizontal tessellations of a first form (16) of module where the module (16) sits on a hexagonal faces and a second form (24) of module where the module (24) sits upon a triangular face, tessellation being achieved when a hexagonal panel (20) of a first form (16) of module is abutted against a hexagonal panel (20) of a second form of module. Multi-storey buildings can be constructed using the upper surfaces created from contiguous topmost panels (26, 28) being employed as the horizontal surface (18, 26, 28) for construction of an upper storey tessellation. Alignment of upper (26, 28) and lower like panels between the upper surfaces of one storey and the lower surfaces of the next higher storey permits automatic creation of utility ducts (30) within the multi storey building. Use of single building modules is also shown in the form of a workshop or outdoor office and in the form of a summerhouse that can have a sectional hexagonal door in the form of six hinged triangular sections that meet, when closed, at the hexagon centre and can be opened by a winch mechanism.
Abstract:
The present invention integrates the use of pre-manufactured structures with minimal on-site installation and lift-slab construction to achieve the construction of multi-story buildings. The pre-manufactured structures are designed to be readily integrated with both horizontal and vertically adjacent building components, including lift-slab components, so that multiple building stories may be readily and securely stacked, one on top of the other. The present invention advantageously permits top- down lift-slab construction for multi-story buildings. The present invention also provides for the development of flexible design plans for institutional, residential, office and other types of buildings. The present invention advantageously provides for easier, more efficient, faster, cheaper, safer, higher quality and more consistent, environmentally advantaged, energy-efficient, easier to maintain, intelligently designed, and customizable multi-story building construction.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A housing structure (1) is disclosed, consisting of at least one residential building (2) comprising a plurality of storeys, at least one greenhouse structure (4) subdivided into a plurality of rooms (5) on top of each other, and sections (6) able to connect a building (2) to a multi-storey greenhouse structure (4). A connecting section (6) includes a plurality of walkways (7) each of which preferably connects the trampling surface of one of the storeys (3) of the residential building (2) with the trampling surface (8) of one of the rooms (5) of a greenhouse structure (4). The greenhouse structure (4) preferably has the shape of a rotational solid having as its axis a hollow column (9) in which pass the relevant ducts for the utilities (water, electrical power, heating, air conditioning, etc) to be distributed to the individual rooms and it consists of a reticular structure, preferably metal, covered with plugging means which are transparent to sunlight.
