An apparatus (10) for providing drinking water to pigs, the apparatus comprising: an elongate trough (12) comprising a base (16), a rear wall (18), a forward lip (20), and a top lip (22) extending forwardly from the rear wall; a horizontal water supply tube (14) having an inlet (24) adapted to receive a supply of drinking water, and a plurality of nipples (26) spaced apart along the length of the water supply tube and protruding therefrom, the water supply tube being mounted within the trough by being located below and adjacent to the top lip; whereby in use drinking water enters the water supply tube and leaves via the plurality of nipples and is catchable by falling onto the base of the elongate trough.

A device (1) for feeding a liquid foodstuff to baby animals designed to be positioned on a surface of interest, the device comprising a frame (2) which can be rested on the ground so as to define an operating configuration for said feeding device (1), at least one feeding tank (4) supported by the frame (2) designed to contain the liquid foodstuff to be supplied to the baby animals and at least one nipple (3) provided with a first end with a first opening fluidically connected with the feeding tank (4) and with a second end (3a) with a second opening to allow the outflow of the liquid foodstuff. The nipple (3) is configured so as to allow a baby animal to suckle the liquid foodstuff through the second opening.

A system and method for automatically delivering a substance to an animal or fish including a positioning system that positions each animal singularly and a sensor that detects the location of a predetermined targeted area on the animal. The system further includes a delivery device for delivering a substance to the targeted area. The position of the delivery device may be adjustable. The delivery device is in communication with the sensor. The delivery device adjusts its position in response to the data received from the sensor and delivers a substance to the targeted area.

Disclosed is a customized automatic precise decremental feeding system for individual calves having improved sanitation in feeding milk. The customized automatic precise decremental feeding system for individual calves according to the present invention selectively feeds calves with milk being supplied to a feeding nipple from a milk supply unit, wherein the customized automatic precise decremental feeding system for individual calves comprises: a height-adjusting device for adjusting the height of the feeding nipple in accordance with the height and weight of the calf being moved into a feeding frame; and a retracting and extending device for exposing the feeding nipple to a feeding space of the feeding frame during feeding, and retracting the feeding nipple upon the completion of feeding. According to the present invention, milk or liquefied powder milk which is heated to the temperature of the milk of a mother cow may be uniformly fed, the amount of milk which is set based on the age and weight of the calf may be automatically fed to the calf, the height of the feeding nipple may be adjusted to the height appropriate for the calf, and the feeding nipple and the milk supply unit may be automatically cleaned after feeding.

The present invention is an apparatus for dripping fluid to attract birds. The invention consists of a reservoir (110) having an orifice (130) and a tube (140) extending therefrom. A valve (150) is attached to the tube (140). The reservoir (110) is filled with fluid, which in turn passes through the orifice (130) and tube (140), while the valve (150) regulated the flow rate of the fluid through the tube (140). The invention has a receptacle (200) beneath the tube (140) to collect the fluid and a hanging mechanism (180) for hanging the invention at the desired location.
