摘要: The invention relates to a method of constructing a value representative of an interaction between a plurality of brain networks, the method being implemented by an electronic device, said electronic device comprising a processor and a memory. According to the invention, the method comprises: obtaining (10), in the form of connectivity matrices, dynamic functional networks, which are representative of electrical signals measured for a predetermined number of points of interest, called nodes, within a cerebral cortex during a given time period; grouping (20) of the nodes, as a function of topological properties of said networks, within groups of nodes called modules; calculating (30) the index representing local epileptogenic network as a function of local functional connectivity characteristics of said nodes, modules and networks.

摘要: A method for improving the speed of determining a health risk profile associated with a patient may include the step of retrieving patient medical information about the patient, wherein the patient medical information is an uncoded natural language expression in a first language. The method may also include comparing the patient medical information with records in a first database. If the patient medical information matches the preselected medical information, the method includes performing a first data conversion procedure. If the patient medical information fails to match any record in the first database, the method includes performing a second data conversion procedure, wherein the first data conversion procedure is performed faster than the second data conversion procedure.

摘要: Electrophysiological signals from a graphical representation of an electrophysiology map including a plurality of electrophysiology data points can be sorted by receiving user inputs specifying a number of virtual electrodes for a virtual catheter and defining a pathway of the virtual catheter. A corresponding number of virtual electrodes can be defined on the pathway of the virtual catheter, and one or more electrophysiology data points relevant to electrical activity at the virtual electrodes can be identified, allowing output of a graphical representation of electrophysiological signals corresponding to the identified electrophysiology data points. Relevant electrophysiololgy data points can be identified by applying one or more relevance criterion, such as a distance criterion, a bipole orientation criterion, a time criterion, and/or a morphology criterion.

摘要: A wearable electronic device, a system and methods of monitoring with a wearable electronic device. The device includes a hybrid wireless communication module with wireless communication sub-modules to selectively acquire location data from both indoor and outdoor sources, as well as a wireless communication sub-module to selectively transmit an LPWAN signal to provide location information based on the acquired data. The device may also include one or more sensors to collect one or more of environmental data, activity data and physiological data. The device may transmit some or all of its acquired data to a larger system, including a cloud-based server to, in addition to providing location-based data, be used as a part of a predictive health care protocol to correlate changes in acquired data to salient indicators of the health of a wearer of the device. In one form, the predictive health care protocol uses a machine learning model.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided herein for treating a patient in cardiogenic shock. An intravascular heart pump system is inserted into vasculature of the patient. The heart pump system has a cannula, pump outlet, pump inlet, and rotor. The heart pump system is positioned within the patient such that the cannula extends across the patient's aortic valve, the pump inlet is located within the patient's left ventricle, and the pump outlet is located within the patient's aorta. Data related to time-varying parameters of the heart pump system is acquired from the heart pump system. A plurality of features are extracted from the data. A probability of survival of the patient is determined based on the plurality of features and using a prediction model. The heart pump system is operated to treat the patient.

摘要: A computing system receives an indication of user input indicating whether a clinician accepts use of a set of default values for variables in a management protocol (MP) template in an MP for a particular patient. The computing system generates a description of the MP for the particular patient that specifies the values of the variables in the MP for the particular patient. Additionally, the computing system provides the description of the MP for the particular patient to the particular patient. Subsequently, the computing system receives data indicating health outcomes of the particular patient. The computing system generates, based on the health outcomes of patients, comparison data comparing health outcomes of patients whose MPs specify a first set of values of the variables versus health outcomes of patients whose MPs specify a second, different set of values of the variables.
