Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for improving the plant health of at least one plant variety, which method comprises treating the plant and/or the locus where the plant is growing or is intended to grow with an amide compound of the formula (I) (compound I). The present invention also relates to a method for improving the plant health of at least one plant variety, which method comprises treating the plant and/or the locus where the plant is growing or is intended to grow with a mixture comprising an amide compound having the formula (I) (compound I) and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a further fungicide Il (compound II), a further fungicide III (compound lIb), an insecticide (compound III) and a herbicide (compound IV).
Abstract:
Methods of combining seeds that have been differentially treated with various single or blended insecticides and/or other additives for low risk attract-and-kill or push-pull strategies for the management of insect pests such as wireworms are disclosed. A combination of seeds for controlling insect pests is also disclosed. The combination comprises a First seed treated with one or more insecticides; and a Second seed for attracting and/or directing soil insect pests to the First seed. The invention describes various combinations of First and Second seeds, where pest insects are directed to ultimately end up at the First seeds that have been treated with a lethal insecticide, and the Second seeds act in various ways to increase control efficacy by attracting and/or directing the pest insects to the First seeds.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods for treating gastrointestinal disorders, e.g., Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and diverticular disease, with a granulated mesalamine formulation. Some formulations use granulated mesalamine in capsule form. Also included are methods to extend remission of ulcerative colitis by administration of a once -daily dosage of granulated mesalamine.
