A method to prepare a haloamine, such as a monochloramine in solution, from a solid halogen releaser (s) is described. Also described is a process to form a haloamine in solution using solid reactants. Also, an aqueous haloamine, such as a monochloramine solution, is further described that has a haloamine in solution and a dehalogenated organic compound present. Methods of use are also described.

The present invention provides a method for selectively controlling or modifying the growth of Poa annua in creeping bentgrass ( Agrostis stolonifera ) or dormant bermudagrass ( Cynodon dactylon ) without causing significant injury to such turf grass, comprising applying to the turf grass or to locus of the Poa annua in such turf grass, a herbicidally effective amount of a composition comprising a compound of formula (I).

The present invention relates to herbicidal compositions comprising at least one isoxazolo[5,4-b]pyridine herbicide I.A, I.B or I.C, or an N-oxide, or an agriculturally useful salt thereof, and at least one further compound selected from herbicidally active compounds of the formula II.1 and II.2, or an N-oxide, or an agriculturally useful salt thereof, and, if desired, a safener C or at least one further herbicide D. The present invention also relates to the use of such a composition for controlling unwanted vegetation and to a method for controlling unwanted vegetation, which comprises allowing a composition to act on plants, their seeds and/or their habitat.

La invención se refiere a partículas de sílica porosas parcialmente funcionalizadas con cadenas largas hidrocarbonadas y cargadas con un agente fungicida que tienen la capacidad de liberar el agente fungicida de una manera selectiva y dirigida en el lugar de la infección, evitando así la liberación innecesaria de fungicidas en el producto vegetal y en el medio ambiente. La invención también está dirigida al proceso de preparación de estas partículas, a un sistema de liberación controlada y dirigida de fungicida basada en ellas y al uso de las mismas para tratamientos fungicidas.
