A quartz glass container is shown and described herein. The quartz glass container exhibits a low concentration of surface defects on an inner surface of the container. In aspects hereof, the container may have a surface defect density of 50 or fewer surface defects per square centimeter within a 1 cm band centered 1 cm from the base of the container.

The reservoir (1) comprises a flexible container (10) which includes one folding layer (12), wherein the folding layer (12) includes a seam (13) which provides for a sealing of the flexible container (1). The reservoir comprises a rigid part (20) which is connected to the flexible container (10) and which includes a support (25) extending into the flexible container (10) and which includes one or more ports (21, 22) providing fluidic access to the flexible container (10). The reservoir comprises a porous hydrophilic membrane (26) which is connected to the support (25) of the rigid part (20). The invention further concerns a method for producing of a reservoir (1). The method comprises: providing a flexible tube (30) and a movable opening device (40) located inside the flexible tube (30), moving (S1) the moveable opening device (40) inside the flexible tube (30) by a distance in a longitudinal direction of the flexible tube (30), providing a rigid part (20), and bonding (S2) the flexible tube (30) to the rigid part (20) and providing a folding layer (12) included in the flexible container (10).

A sample collection kit is described for ensuring positive sample identification. The sample collection kit includes a sample container configured to hold a biological sample. The sample container has a lower end, an upper end, a sidewall that extends from the lower end to the upper end, and an identifier disposed along the sidewall. The identifier includes information encoded therein related to the sample container and the sample. The kit includes a sample container holder. The sample container holder has a bottom end, an open top end, a sidewall, and a window in the sidewall. The window is positioned in the sidewall of the container holder such that when the collection tube is inserted inside the sample container holder, the identifier of the sample container is aligned with window of the sample container holder.

본 발명은 수액용기에 설치되는 배액포트(drain port)와, 상기 배액포트에 분리가능하게 결합되어 상기 수액용기에 저장되어 있는 수액(輸液)을 배출하는 드립챔버(drip chamber)를 포함하여 구성되는 의료용 배액 유니트에 관한 것으로, 좀더 상세하게 설명하자면, 상기 배액포트에는 칼집절개선이 절개되어 있는 고무전과 상기 칼집절개선을 노출시켜 주는 제1 결합관이 설치되어 있고, 상기 드립챔버에는 상기 제1 결합관에 결합되는 제2 결합관과 상기 칼집절개선 속으로 삽입되어 수액을 배출하는 삽입관을 포함하는 루어록 컨넥터(luer-lock connector)가 설치되어 있어서, 상기 고무전 속으로 강제 삽입되는 스파이크(spike)가 필요 없는, 루어록(luer-lock) 접속구조를 갖는 의료용 배액 유니트에 관한 것이다.

Aspects of the present disclosure include a connector that is suitable for connecting medical suction tubing with at least two different types of fluid ports of a medical fluid collection system. In certain aspects, the connector includes a generally cylindrical body portion having a cylindrical outer surface extending generally parallel to a central longitudinal axis of the body portion, and an inner surface defining a primary conduit extending through the connector. At least one lateral closure wall extends radially outward from the outer surface of the body portion. At least one annular skirt wall extends longitudinally from the at least one lateral closure wall, including a first annular skirt wall that serves to receive an open mouth of a first fluid port having a relatively small diameter, and a second annular skirt wall that serves to receive an open mouth of a second fluid port having a relatively larger diameter.

본 발명은 뼈수집장치에 수술 중에 혈액 등을 흡입하면서 함께 유출되는 환자의 뼈조직을 수집하여 유합시 뼈이식재료로 활용할 수 있는 뼈수집장치에 관한 것으로, 흡입액이 유입되는 흡입포트와 부압이 공급되는 부압포트를 가지는 저장부재; 상기 저장부재의 상측에 선택적으로 결합되는 상부뚜껑 및 가압부재; 상기 저장부재의 하측에 결합되는 하부뚜껑을 포함하고, 상기 가압부재는 상기 저장부재의 내면을 따라 이동하는 가압관체; 상기 가압관체의 하부에 배치돼서, 흡입액을 누르면서 뼈조직을 하방으로 내리누르는 거름판을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Verschweißen eines Verbindungsbereichs einer Folie mit einem eine Achsrichtung aufweisenden Anschlussteil. Bei herkömmlichen Vorrichtungen besteht die Gefahr, dass steile Werkstückflanken unkontrollierte Schwächungen in der Folie und in der Schweißung hervorrufen. Die Erfindung sieht vor, kontrolliert eine Verlängerung der Folie vorzusehen, sodass die Folie über eine Längenreserve verfügt. Die Verlängerung der Folie wird dabei derart ausgeführt, dass sie einen auslaufenden Verformungsquerschnitt aufweist, sodass die Verformung am Endprodukt nicht sichtbar ist. In diesem Zusammenhang werden außerdem eine Verwendung einer Folie, ein Verfahren zum Verschweißen, ein Herstellverfahren für Beutel, eine Anlage zum Produzieren von Beuteln und ein Beutel vorgestellt.
