One aspect of the present invention relates to a method of receiving broadcasting signal, wherein a transmission data slice multiplex descriptor including the PLP_id for the extension stream and transmission_system_id in a TS loop of the NIT maps the transport stream to the data PLP in a data slice of the transmission system.

An IPTV and a method for controlling a video Widget in the IPTV are disclosed. Herein, a method for providing a video Widget application includes playing-back a video content within an IP packet, executing a video Widget application, and selecting a specific area of the video content being played-back, and outputting an object guide including at least one or more object lists included in the selected specific area. The method also includes receiving a selection of at least one object selected from the object list within the outputted object guide, receiving a selection of a video filter to be applied to the selected object from the executed video Widget application, and applying the selected video filter to the at least one selected video filter.

A method and apparatus for receiving a broadcasting signal for a real-time broadcasting service and a non-real-time broadcasting service are disclosed. The apparatus for receiving the broadcasting signal includes a receiving unit, a storage medium, a first processor and a second processor. The receiving unit receives and displays a broadcasting service in real-time. The first processor receives and decodes non-real-time content based on reception time information and identification information included in first signaling information, and stores the decoded non-real-time content in the storage medium. The second processor reads and presents the non-real-time content from the storage medium based on presentation time information and the identification information included in second signaling information, and displays the broadcasting service in real-time.
Abstract:
A reception system and a method for processing data in the reception system are disclosed. The reception system includes a baseband processor receiving a broadcasting signal including mobile service data and main service data, the mobile service data including first service data and second service data having a format different from that of the first service data, the second service data configuring a Reed Solomon (RS) frame, and the RS frame including a table which describes the second service data and signaling information of the second service data, a table handler parsing the table from the RS frame and extracting the signaling information of the second service data, and service handlers parsing the second service data from the RS frame on the basis of the extracted signaling information of the second service data. Accordingly, it is possible to transmit/receive service data having a format different from that of the existing method in a single MH system.
