Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for transmitting an IPTV streaming service by P2P transmission comprises the steps of collecting TS packets of n skipped units to generate an encapsulation unit for an IPTV streaming service (where n is a natural number); adding an extension header containing type information to the generated encapsulation unit (wherein, said type information is information for identifying the sequence of the encapsulation unit, which is required for decoding the IPTV streaming service); adding an IP header to the encapsulation unit to which the extension header containing the type information is added, in order to generate an IP packet; and transmitting the generated IP packet to at least one super peers.

A method of receiving a broadcast signal including a Non-Real-Time (NRT) Receiver Targeting service, the method comprises receiving broadcast signal including first signaling information and second signaling information, identifying an NRT service based on the first signaling information, parsing a Receiver Targeting Descriptor from the second signaling information, determining validity of the NRT service or an NRT content based on a targeting_criterion_type_code included in the Receiver Targeting Descriptor, and downloading the NRT service or the NRT content when a receiver determines the NRT service or the NRT content to be valid.
Abstract:
A method for processing a 3D video signal and a digital broadcast receiver for performing the processing method are disclosed. A method for receiving a 3D broadcast signal includes receiving signaling information of at least one stream for a 3 Dimension TeleVision (3DTV) service and a two dimensional (2D) video stream, demultiplexing at least one stream for the 3DTV service and the 2D video stream based on the signaling information, decoding at least one demultiplexed stream for the 3DTV service and the demultiplexed 2D video stream, and outputting a 3D video signal by formatting at least one decoded stream for the 3DTV service and the decoded 2D video stream.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a video signal processing method, comprising the steps of: receiving a multi-view coded bitstream including a color picture and a depth picture, the depth picture representing a set of numeric information on a distance between an object and a camera serving as a reference; acquiring data type identification information as well as depth range information from the multi-view video coded bitstream, the data type identification information indicating whether the multi-view video coded bitstream contains depth coded data, the depth range information representing information of maximum and minimum values in variances between two pictures at different visual points; according to the data type identification information, if the multi-view video coded bitstream contains the depth coded data, recovering the depth coded data; adjusting the depth range information by comparing the depth range information with a predetermined threshold range for changes of depth; and displaying 3D video by using the recovered depth coded data and the adjusted depth range information.
Abstract:
