Abstract:
Se da a conocer un filtro ecológico lavable, no desechable para aceites lubricantes, combustibles y diesel, el cual está diseñado para motores de combustión interna u otro equipo. El filtro ecológico permite drenar el agua del diesel acumulada en el filtro sin provocar que se pare el motor y /o dispositivo, debido a que el agua acumulada provoca que se desarrolle dentro de la bomba e inyectores cavitación que es perjudicial para dichos componentes. El filtro ecológico lavable no desechable por la versatilidad en el diseño de sus elementos filtrantes y partes principales, una vez saturado, puede ser retirado de su posición de trabajo para efectuar la limpieza correspondiente y ser reutilizado en múltiples ocasiones sin tener la necesidad de tirarlo a la basura evitando considerablemente la contaminación del medio ambiente al no desecharlo.

The present invention discloses a water purification filter easily replaced by a connector which can simplify a connection structure of a water purification system by forming paths of feed water, purified water and concentrated water as one port, and which can be easily replaced after disconnection of a filter cartridge from the water purification system, and a water purification system using the same. The water purification filter easily replaced by the connector includes a connector having an inflow hole through which feed water flows in, a check valve body in which an auto shut off valve for opening/closing a feed water flowing path for guiding feed water to a filter side and a concentrated water discharge path are formed, an outflow hole for externally discharging purified water, and a concentrated water control hole for externally discharging concentrated water, a filter housing for opening the feed water flowing path by opening the auto shut off valve in connection with the connector, a locking means for detachably fixing the filter housing to the connector, and a passage switching guide having a first path for supplying feed water to a reverse osmosis membrane filter when the filter housing is connected to the connector, a second path for supplying water purified by the reverse osmosis membrane filter to the outflow hole, and a third path for supplying concentrated water to the concentrated water discharge path.

A one-touch fitting type adapter and a filter assembly are provided in which the filter assembly used for machinery, such as a bidet or a refrigerator, is easily assembled with or dis¬ assembled from the adapter through a one-touch fitting manner such that the filter assembly is easily adapted for the machinery. A multiple adapter capable of coupling a plurality of adapters in series is provided such that a plurality of filter assemblies used for a water purifier, a water ionizer or a functional water maker are detachably engaged with the multiple adapter through a one-touch fitting manner.

A liquid filter assembly is provided. The preferred assembly includes a serviceable filter cartridge having a primary filter section and a secondary or bypass filter section. The preferred assembly includes a bypass valve arrangement and a suction filter arrangement. The suction filter arrangement preferably includes a dimensionally biased valve arrangement, preferably one which is devoid of a helical coiled spring, to control flow through the suction filter. A flow/pressure regulation valve, to allow flow from an interior of the assembly to a reservoir if needed, is preferably provided. Preferred serviceable filter cartridges are shown.

A freeze resistant filter cartridge assembly, includes a filter cartridge including a filter housing and a filter media and having at least one component selected from a list of components consisting of: the filter housing being formed of an increased elasticity polyolefin polymer having elongation and glass transition properties that allow for stretching of the housing during a freezing event rather than rupturing; a sleeve having a volume of air entrapped therein within and being disposed in the interior of the filter cartridge; and the filter housing formed of a conventional polyolefin having a wall thickness great enough to resist freeze induced expansion stresses. A method of forming a freeze resistant filter cartridge assembly is further included.

Some embodiments of the present invention provide a modular fluid treatment assembly and method in which modules of the system each have a head that can be connected to one or more heads (of one or more other modules) in different configurations. In some embodiments, the relationship between a cartridge of the module and its corresponding head prevents fluid from entering between the cartridge and an external shell of the module. Also, some embodiments provide a module having a head with substantially concentric inlet and outlet ports in fluid communication with a cartridge coupled to the head.

In the treatment of water, an end piece is connected to a treatment cartridge housing and inserted into an appliance having bypass, inlet, and outlet valves. The end piece has an end piece wall from which an inlet fitting, outlet fitting, and protrusion extend. The inlet fittings, outlet fittings, protrusion, and cartridge housing each have a longitudinal axis. The inlet and outlet fittings have a cam surface for actuating the inlet and outlet valves, respectively. Further, the cam surfaces of the inlet and outlet fittings are angled and vectored in relation to their respective longitudinal axis. The protrusion is shaped for actuating the bypass valve.

Abstract:
A bracket system holds one or more filters in quick-attach and quick-release fashion. Bracket modules are combined in modular fashion, with tubing or other conduit between the modules, to create a "bank" of filters easily changed in number, arrangement, and flow scheme. Preferably, the bracket system comprises pairs of top modules and bottom modules that capture and support the top end and bottom end of a filter. Filter inlet and outlet ports preferably slide onto and off of cooperating tubes or ports in the bracket modules, for installation and removal of the filters onto/from the modules without tools or threaded connections. A top retaining member preferably pivots off of its respective filter, so that the filter may be lifted up off of its respective bottom module. The bottom modules may be pivotal, so that lifting the filter up from the bracket system is facilitated by allowing the filter top end to also pivot out away from the top module. Each filter is preferably substantially vertically and pivotally removable from the bracket system.
