    摘要： A container for holding and dispensing product with a grip assist (40) which facilitates twisting, turning, lifting and supporting the container. The container is preferably a bag-in-box container which holds a liquid such as a beverage syrup. The container has a generally rigid exterior body and a flexible interior product container in a cavity (27) of the exterior body and a grip assist positioned preferably in at least one of the front end (23) or rear end (24) of the container. The grip assist includes a barrier (42) between at least one of the front end and rear end and the flexible product container and a finger opening in the same front or rear end as the barrier. The finger opening (45) is of sufficient size to accommodate the insertion by a user of multiple fingers of a hand into the finger opening. The barriers is spaced apart from the finger opening such that the fingers can contact the barrier through the finger opening to assist in twisting, turning, gripping or lifting the container.

    摘要： The invention concerns a box for-bag-in-the-box applications. The box is erected from a blank and has a rectangular bottom, four sides and a rectangular top. The top is formed by four flaps each extending foldably from an upper edge of one of the sides. These flaps overlap and interlock with one another. The flaps are additionally provided with finger-grip openings dimensioned to receive fingers of a person carrying the box. The arrangement of the openings is such that when the box is carried by fingers received in the openings provided in the opposing flaps, the interlock between the flaps prevents the flaps from parting from one another.

    摘要： A sleeve-type beverage can carrier (10) having a transversely arranged handle opening (32) in the top panel (14). The opening is covered by flaps (34) foldably connected to the top panel along the transversely extending elongated edges (50) of the handle opening, each flap being formed of individual tabs which facilitate the folding down of the flap by the fingers of a user. The elongated edges are tapered so that they are the most widely spaced apart midway along their length and the closest together near their ends. This arrangement causes the top panel on both sides of the handle opening to bow upwardly when the carrier is lifted to distribute the lifting stresses through the top panel and the upper portions of the side panels.
