Abstract:
Abstract:
A carton for holding a plurality of articles in at least a first layer and a second layer. The carton can comprise a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels can comprise at least a bottom panel, a side panel, and a top panel. The carton further can include a divider for at least partially extending between the first layer and the second layer of the plurality of articles. The divider can at least partially define a first modular section of the carton and a second modular section of the carton. The first modular section can comprise the top panel, an upper portion of the side panel, and the divider. The second modular section can comprise the bottom panel and a lower portion of the side panel. The first modular section can be at least partially separable from the second modular section.
Abstract:
A carton for holding a plurality of containers is disclosed. The carton includes a plurality of panels. The plurality of panels includes a top panel, a bottom panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel. The carton includes a plurality of end flaps. Each end flap of the plurality of end flaps is respectively foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels for at least partially closing an end of the carton. The carton further includes a plurality of lines of weakening positioned in at least one portion of the carton. The at least one portion of the carton being selected from the group consisting of at least one panel of the plurality of panels and at least one end flap of the plurality of end flaps. The plurality of lines of weakening forms at least one texture in the exterior of the carton.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an opening device comprising a first portion on one side of a fibre based packaging laminate and a second portion on an opposite side of the fibre based packaging laminate, the first and second portion being formed in one and the same piece and joined by at least one material bridge extending through the packaging laminate. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the opening device and to a packaging material to be used is such a method.
Abstract:
A bundle (10) of consumer goods comprises a wrapper (12) wrapped around one or more consumer goods. The wrapper (12) is formed from a single laminar blank (30) and comprises a first end wall (14) and a second end wall opposite the first end wall (14). The wrapper (12) further comprises a first side wall (16) formed from a single panel, wherein a first edge of the first end wall (14) depends along a fold line from a first edge of the first side wall (16) and wherein a first edge of the second end wall depends along a fold line from a second edge of the first side wall (16). The wrapper (12) further comprises a second side wall located opposite the first side wall (16), a third side wall (18) extending between the first side wall (16) and the second side wall, and a fourth side wall located opposite the third side wall (18) and extending between the first side wall (16) and the second side wall. At least one of the third and fourth side walls comprises three overlapping wrapper side panels that overlap each other to form an end portion of the side wall, the three overlapping wrapper side panels comprising a first side panel (20) depending along a first fold line from the first side wall (16), a second side panel (22) depending along a second fold line from the first end wall (14), and a third side panel (24) depending along a third fold line from the second end wall. The first, second and third side panels (20, 22, 24) are sealed to each other and the first side panel (20) depends along a fold line from only one or neither of the second and third side panels (22, 24).
Abstract:
A hermetically sealed stand-alone paperboard folding carton having barrier properties integrated with a peelable, re-sealable closure. The container includes: (a) a skived and hemmed portion of the laminated paperboard carton; (b) a bottom film strip sealed to the inner side of the bottom carton flaps; and (c) a top film assembly sealed to the inner side of the top carton flaps, the top film assembly comprising a re-sealable closure. The carton uses a flat, die cut, scored paperboard blank having a barrier film laminated to one side of the paperboard; an area of interior glue flap of the cut blank is skived to remove a thickness of paperboard material; a skived area of the blank is hemmed to seal the skived area over the un-skived area of the blank, a strip of barrier film is heat-sealed to the four bottom carton flaps; the bottom flaps are folded and glued; the container is filled; (g) an additional strip of peelable, sealable film is heat sealed to top carton flaps; and (h) the top carton flaps are folded and glued.
