A mineral material processing plant (100, 200, 300, 400) comprises a mineral material processing apparatus (10, 20) and a first conveyor (30) which is arranged to feed the processing apparatus during operation of that processing apparatus which first conveyor comprises a first material transport part (31), a second material transport part (32) and a pivot (33) by which the second material transport part is fixed in relation to the first material transport part (31) pivotably to an operation position in which the transported material is arranged to be fed via a discharge end (32') of the second material transport part to the processing apparatus (10, 20); and to a service position which is in a first pivoting direction in relation to the operation position, and in the service position the projection of the discharge end of the second material transport part is arranged to leave free the lifting centre of the processing apparatus when viewed from above. The support of the conveyor (40, 61) relative to the screen comprises a four-bar linkage mechanism, and pivot points of the four-bar linkage mechanism are arranged in support arms (41, 42, 25, 26) which are fixed pivotably in connection with the screen (20, 27), and the conveyor is arranged to be moved farther from the screen and closer to the screen by the movement of the four-bar linkage. A belt conveyor system with a distributing belt conveyor unit having upper and lower movable frame assemblies that are pivotally connected to a gear unit that simultaneously moves the lower movable frame assembly in opposition to the movement of the upper movable frame assembly, therein allowing the belt to track smoothly when transferring the articles between one branch belt conveyor unit and two or more branch belt conveyors units. The construction of the distributing belt conveyor unit allows for easy removal of the belt.

An extendible conveyor apparatus includes a first end, a second end, and an adjustable-length bed of rollers extending in between them. A sliding frame (or extension) mounted moveably on a support structure supports a fixed number of the rollers, while a moveable string of rollers connected to a second end of the frame feeds additional rollers into and out of position between the second end of the conveyor apparatus and the frame according to frame movement between retracted and extended positions of the frame, hi one embodiment, the bed of rollers includes at least some motor-driven rollers (MDRs) and the string of rollers withdraws to a position below the bed using an extend/retract drive mechanism having a drive chain disposed in a loop, the frame being connected to an upper side of the loop for frame-moving purposes and the string of rollers being connected to a lower side of the loop for string withdrawal purposes.

A conveyor system having any number of conveyor system modules, each system module comprising a support structure, a band and a band drive mechanism for driving the band around a path of each respective system module. In one aspect of the invention a mounting bracket forms a part of the conveyor system and has mounting details for mounting the bracket onto a conveyor system support element. In a second aspect of the invention a conveyor drive mechanism bracket mounts a drive mechanism in the conveyor system. Locking details are also designed to tighten a band of the conveyor system. In a third aspect of the invention a coupling bracket for a first conveyor system module has mechanical coupling details.

A belt conveyor system (10) having a continuous, looping carrier belt (28) entrained around a belt plate (20) which is supported by a frame (12). The belt plate (20) is secured to the frame (12) by securement pins (26a) and pivot pins (26b). The carrier belt (28) is driven externally rather than internally and is tensioned with minimal obstruction to removing the belt (28), which thereby facilitates disassembly of the system (10), particularly frequent removal, cleaning, and replacement of the belt (28) as may be necessary or desirable in, for example, the food processing industry. More specifically, the drive mechanism (14) is located substantially completely outside of and adjacent to the internal area (41) defined by the looping belt (28), and the tensioning mechanism (22) is low profile presenting minimal to no obstruction when removing the belt (28) from the belt plate (20).

An adjustable assembly (19) is configured to accommodate angular adjustment between adjacent belted conveyor sections (12a, 12b). The adjustable assembly functions to position the belted conveyor sections so that one of the rollers of one belted conveyor section is aligned with the rollers of the other belted conveyor section in a direction of conveyance of the conveyor sections. The rollers are aligned such that an article on the belt (18b) of the upstream belted conveyor section (12b) does not substantially engage the aligned roller (14a) of the downstream belted conveyor section (12a) as the article is moved from the upstream belt onto the downstream belt (18a). The adjustable assembly may provide a smooth transition between the conveyor sections throughout a range of angular adjustment of the adjustable assembly.
