摘要: A container fill station includes a seal bar configured to temporarily contact an open end of a container, to temporarily seal an interior of the container from a surrounding atmosphere, a fill head configured to be moved by a fill head actuator through a sealed opening in the seal bar, a fill head valve located in a fluid pathway between a liquid source and the fill head outlet, and an outflowing gas valve in fluid communication with the interior of the container. Therein, control of a liquid fill rate is provided by opening the outflowing gas valve a select amount while simultaneously opening the fill head valve. During a filling operation method, the interior of the container may be temporarily sealed and pressurized, or filling may be done at ambient/ atmospheric pressure, preferably with the fill head outlet being disposed below the liquid's surface during filling.

摘要: A system for dispensing fluid. The system includes a flexible container (10) including a spout (14) that is in fluid communication with an interior region of the container (10). The system includes a cap (18) configured to be mounted to the spout (14). The cap (18) includes an opening (90) that leads to a membrane (94) and a first retention mechanism (102, 110) located in the opening (90). The system includes a piercing tube (22) having a first end (38) configured to puncture the membrane (94) and a second end (46) configured to be connected to a dispensing tube (26). The piercing tube (22) includes a seal bead (50) and a second retention mechanism (54, 58). The piercing tube (22) is inserted into the opening (90)of the cap (18) such that the first end punctures the membrane (94), the first and second retention mechanisms engage each other to retain the piercing tube (22) in the cap (18), and the seal bead (50) sealingly engages the cap (18).

摘要: Tools (100) for crushing an ampule (146) contained within an applicator (102) for a therapeutic are disclosed herein. The ampule crush tool may be configured to rest on an incline relative to a flat surface. Further, the ampule crush tool may include a spill reservoir (122) for collecting a volume of the therapeutic expelled during an ampule crushing operation. Additionally, the ampule crush tool may form a fully enclosed cavity such that the ampule crush tool may contain the therapeutic even when the therapeutic is expelled from the ampule along an unpredictable trajectory. The ampule crush tool may also be shaped to orient an ampule-containing applicator in a suitable orientation within the ampule crush tool.

摘要: A fuel storage and supply arrangement serves as a source of fuel to be dispensed via at least one fuel dispenser. The arrangement comprises a storage tank for containing a quantity of the fuel. A pump assembly draws the fuel from the storage tank providing the fuel under pressure to a fuel supply line. A fuel conditioning assembly includes a housing having a storage volume, a housing inlet receiving the fuel under pressure created by the pump assembly, a housing outlet through which fuel exits the housing, and a housing port through which fuel can be drawn into the housing. A vacuum source is operative to selectively apply a vacuum to the outlet so that liquid can be drawn into the housing via the port. A water intake device in fluid communication with the housing port has at least one inlet situated adjacent to a bottom of the tank.
