Um Rohrsegmente unterschiedlicher Weite einfacher, zuverlässiger und kostengünstiger miteinander verbinden zu können, ist vorgesehen, dass das weitere Rohrsegment (1,31) mit einem Ende teilweise über ein Ende des schmaleren Rohrsegments (2,32) geschoben wird, dass die Rohrsegmente (1,2,21,22) unter Ausbildung eines Ringspalts (5,27) zwischen den Rohrsegmenten (1,2,21,22) voneinander beabstandet positioniert werden, dass im Ringspalt (5,27) zwischen den beiden Rohrsegmenten (1,2,21,22) eine sich in Längsrichtung (L) der Rohrsegmente (1,2,21,22) und/oder in radialer Richtung (R) erstreckende Trennschicht (4,14) vorgesehen wird, dass der Ringspalt (5,27) angrenzend zu der Trennschicht (4,14) und zu wenigstens einer Seite der Trennschicht (4,14) wenigstens teilweise mit einer Vergussmasse (9,30) ausgegossen wird, dass beim Aushärten der Vergussmasse (9,30) die Vergussmasse (9,30) auf einer Seite der Trennschicht (4,14) nur mit einem der Rohrsegmente (1,2,21,22) und/oder die Vergussmasse (9,30) auf der anderen Seite der Vergussmasse (9,30) nur mit dem anderen Rohrsegment (1,2,21,22) eine feste Verbindung (3,20) eingeht und dass die Rohrsegmente (1,2,21,22) nach dem Aushärten der Vergussmasse (9,30) mit den zugehörigen, insbesondere durch die ausgehärtete Vergussmasse (9,30) gebildeten, separaten Verbindungselementen (10,11,21,22) wieder entlang der Trennschicht (4,14) voneinander getrennt werden.
