Abstract:
A system, method, and apparatus are discussed for a passive optical camera-based system to detect a presence of one or more vehicles with one or more cameras. A detection algorithm is applied to recognize of the presence of the one or more vehicles using one or more imaging processors and the one or more cameras to detect fluctuations in light intensity from scattered light and/or reflections off of that vehicle. Those scattered light and/or reflections are captured in images contained in a set of frames from the one or more cameras.

Abstract:
Provided in some embodiments is an artificial intelligence ("Al") engine configured to work with a pedagogical programming language configured to enable an author to 1) define a mental model to be learned by an Al model, the mental model including an input, one or more concept nodes, one or more stream nodes, and an output, as well as 2) define one or more curriculums for training the Al model respectively on the one or more concept nodes. A compiler can be configured to generate an assembly code from a source code authored in the pedagogical programming language. An architect module can be configured to propose a neural-network layout from the assembly code. A learner module can be configured to build the Al model the neural- network layout. An instructor module can be configured to train the Al model on the one or more concept nodes respectively with the one or more curriculums.
Abstract:
An arbitrator governs an arbitration between different power domains and sequences powering up the different power domains supplied by the same voltage supply (VS) circuit on the Chip, The arbitrator sequencing logic limits how many different power domains simultaneously power up to a maximum amount, which is less than enough instantaneous electrical current drawn on the VS-circuit to cause a reduction below a minimum allowable supply voltage level for the VS-circuit, The sequencing logic manages the sequencing of powering up the different power domains by factoring in i) whether different power domains arbitrating to power up are part of a set of power domains that share the VS-circuit, ii) an amount of an instantaneous eiectricai current drawn, and iii) an amount of credits available before the minimum allowable supply voltage level occurs for that VS-circuit. The sequencing logic controls behavior of power domains when powering up from multiple different behaviors.
Abstract:
A key fob simulator for sending actuation commnad to a vehicle is discussed. The key fob has memory buffers, processors, and a transceiver that uses wireless communications to communicate with a backend cloud-based system. A RF transmitter of the key fob can transmit RF signals to Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module of the vehicle. A mapping module includes a map-calculating circuit to calculate map coordinates of the key fob. A security module can receive a rolling security key of the RKE module of the vehicle. The key fob includs buttons that can be pushed by a user of the key fob to generate actuation commands by the security module. Using the RF transmitter, an actuation command and the rolling security key can be sent from security module to the RKE module of the vehicle. The RKE module then executes the actuation command after validating the rolling security key.
Abstract:
A ring bus Shared Resource electrical System (SRS) has at least an essential electrical power ring bus and a critical electrical power ring bus as well as multiple SRS electrical power distribution platforms. Each SRS distribution platform includes one or more interconnected essential switchboards and two or more interconnected critical switchboards. Each essential switchboard is coupled through the essential electrical power ring bus to essential switchboards of two other SRS distribution platforms, and each critical switchboard is coupled through the critical electrical power ring bus to critical switchboards of two other SRS distribution platforms. Each SRS distribution platform directs power to one nominal load group and as well is configured to distribute power to a load group nominally supplied by another SRS distribution platform. One or more controller in each SRS distribution platform synchronizes the output voltage of SRS distribution platforms.
Abstract:
Methods and Apparatuses for a collaborative effort from a group of participants on an issue-exploration process on one or more client machines are discussed. A form- based Internet application that consists of a systematic structure of a series of tab forms to set up a framework for a collaborative effort from a group of participants on an issue-exploration process is configured for an initial issue. The form-based Internet application via the series of tab forms is configured to enable and collect knowledge and insights from the group of participants during the stages of the issue- exploration process. The form-based Internet application has an open framework with the stages of the issue-exploration process in that an actual content of the ideas contributed by participants actively shapes a non-linear progression of the issue- exploration process from the initial issue to the current issue in the issue-exploration process.
Abstract:
In an embodiment, a vertical axis wind turbine may be constructed to better survive wear and tear while being more energy efficient. A turbine blade may capture air movement to generate power. A blade arm may hold the turbine blade parallel to a rotating shaft. The blade arm may transmit torque from the turbine blade to the rotating shaft to drive a rotor of an electrical power generator. A moment-free connector may connect the turbine blade to the blade arm to transmit a stress maxima to a structural strongpoint of the turbine blade away from the moment-free connector.
Abstract:
A set of two or more modular-critical-power-distribution skids are arranged in a redundant power center configuration to supply power to electrical loads in a modular data center facility. The skids are housed in hardened buildings. The uninterruptable power supply is electrically and mechanically connected into the multiple power distribution cabinets, all of which are mounted onto a steel framed support structure, which supports a weight of those uninterruptable power supplies and power distribution cabinets. The environmental control system controls a cooling system for the modular-critical-power-distribution skids. Electrical power from the A-side and B-side connects in a redundant power configuration to electrical loads in the cooling system.
Abstract:
A method for implementing shared experiences using mobile computing devices comprises capturing an image of a trigger along with background information associated with the trigger in a video frame using a video camera built into a first mobile computing device equipped with a display screen and a wireless communication module; identifying characteristics information of the trigger and the associated background infonnation; transmitting the characteristics infonnation of the trigger and the associated background information to a server computing device connected to a network using wireless communication; receiving an augmented reality corresponding to the characteristics information of the trigger and the associated background information from the server computing device; and presenting the augmented reality on the display screen of the first mobile computing device, wherein the augmented reality associated with the first mobile computing device is shared and time synchronized with an augmented reality previously transmitted to a second mobile computing device.
