Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft leitfähige organische Polymergele, ein Verfahren zu deren Herstellung, die Verwendung der leitfähigen organischen Polymergele als feste Elektrolyte in elektrochemischen Anwendungen, sowie Taschenbatterien, galvanische Elemente, Akkumulatoren oder Brennstoffzellen, die diese leitfähigen organischen Polymergele als feste Elektrolyte enthalten, als solche. Weiterhin betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung die Herstellung von nanoporösen Polymerschaumstoffen aus diesen leitfähigen organischen Polymergelen.

Bei dem Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Verbundmembranmaterials wird zunächst eine Schicht aus streichfähiger Polymerpaste (6) auf ein Trennpapier (1) aufgebracht. Anschließend erfolgt ein Nasskaschieren der Polymerpaste (6) mit einer mikroporösen, dampfdurchlässigen Membran (12) auf der dem Trennpapier (1) abgewandten Seite der Polymerpaste (6) . Nach dem Trocknen des Verbundmembranmaterials wird das Trennpapier (1) vom Verbundmembranmaterial abgelöst, so dass ein trägersubstratloses Verbundmembranmaterial vorliegt, das anschließend entweder auf Textilsubstrate oder andere Materialien laminiert oder beispielsweise als Membran für verschiedene Bereiche eingesetzt werden kann.

This invention relates to a novel two phase biocompatible semi-permeable mem- brane for biosensors and more particularly to a homogenous membrane for us- age in in-vivo sensing of glucose by an enzyme. The membrane comprises of a continuous hydrophilic phase of water swellable polyurethane having discrete particles of polydimethyl siloxane dispersed therein. Furthermore, a membrane having good properties for use as the outer membrane in a biosensor continuous determination of the blood glucose level in vivo, can be prepared by spraying of a polymer solution in a big number of spraying steps, for example, more than 20 steps.

Also provided is an FRP precision filter medium comprising a porous cured article which is a reinforcement-containing particle aggregate obtained by curing the O/W aqueous dispersion in the presence of a reinforcement and which contains approximately spherical fine particles bonded to one another, has interconnected pores among the particles bonded, and has an effective pore diameter of 0.1 to 1.0 mu m and a porosity of 10 to 40 vol.%.

The invention relates to a method for producing a surface modified membrane, comprising the following steps a) production of a solution containing a synthetic polymer M in the form of a membrane, a solution system and an agent A comprising at least one functional group, b) shaping the solution into a moulded body comprising a first and second side, c) allowing a reaction on at least one of the sides of the moulded bodies of a coagulation medium which contains in a dissolved form an agent B reacting with agent A, and at least one functional group. A separation phase follows and a membrane structure is formed which comprises an inner porous surface and outer surfaces, whereby agent B, during said reaction, reacts with agent A on at least one of the outer surfaces and d) optionally, the solvent system is extracted and optionally dried. Said method allows a surface modified membrane to be obtained as a result of the reaction product of A and B.

Under certain embodiments, the membranes (28) include blends of one or more polyester polyol based thermoplastic urethanes and one or more barrier materials. The membranes can be employed in a variety of applications and can be used as either monolayers (30A) or multi-layered laminates (28A).
