    Abstract: A method for evaluating a securing system for a floating structure, where the method includes collecting a plurality of metocean data from a plurality of metocean sensor devices during a current time period coinciding with a field operation, where the field operation is conducted from the floating structure that is stabilized by the securing system. The method can also include evaluating the metocean data using a plurality of algorithms. The method can further include determining, based on evaluating the metocean data, a condition of the securing system at the current time period.

    Abstract: A method for making a propylene oligomer having a high vinylidene content and a high degree of structural regularity and the propylene oligomer made therefrom. The method of making the propylene oligomer comprises contacting an unbridged metallocene complex with a propylene composition in the presence of a modified methyl aluminum oxide activator compound under suitable oligomerization conditions. The use of the combination of a modified methyl aluminum oxide activator compound with an unbridged metallocene complex has been found to provide increased vinylidene group content and reduced hydrogenated propylene oligomer content.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure include processes for hydroconversion of hydrocarbon feedstocks in ebullated bed reactor systems. In particular, the systems comprise two or more ebullated bed reactors comprising catalyst particles, one or more inter-stage separation vessels, which are in fluid communication, and allow for the introduction of an additional solvent into the system between the final inter-stage separation vessel and the final ebullated bed reactor in the flow path. The processes include the addition of a solvent comprising water to an inter-stage liquid product prior to contact with the final ebullated bed reactor, which improves catalytic performance.

    Abstract: A method is described for data analytics including receiving a set of M variables representative of a subsurface volume of interest, derived from one or more of co-located well-log data, seismic data, and production data; performing a global optimum branch-and-bound algorithm to find a collection of N variables from the set of M variables that achieve the best fit in multiple regression; adding random variables to the collection of N variables; a slightly non-linear optimization until a statistically significant percentage of the random variables are eliminated; and performing, a highly non-linear optimization to select a final set of features.     Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure include processes for selective ring-opening of cycloparaffins in hydrocarbon feeds to produce hydrocracked cycloparaffins. In particular, the process comprises contacting a hydrocarbon feed comprising cycloparaffins with hydrogen and a catalyst comprising an unsulfided, low -acidity, metal-containing zeolite under hydrocracking conditions; wherein the metal is selected from the group consisting of platinum, nickel, rhodium and mixtures thereof. The processes are useful for upgrading petroleum streams to lubricant base stocks.
