Abstract:
Intravascular delivery system for deployment of a therapeutic device, such as a stent, in a controlled and robust manner is supported by a lockable balloon catheter equipped with a locking mechanism configured to lock in vivo to a delivery component, such as a guidewire. The lockable balloon catheter can be controllably transitioned between a locked and an unlocked modes of operation by inflation/deflation on of the balloon of the lockable balloon catheter. Being in the locked mode of operation, the lockable balloon catheter facilitates delivery of the therapeutic element along the delivery component to a target site while enhancing the stability of the delivery component, especially near the target site.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system and method for providing communication based on predefined authenticated configuration. The system includes a contextual scanning reader device providing a mechanism of automatic pre-authentication of user identity without requiring user to enter login ID and password. When an action is triggered on reader device upon scanning a machine readable code (such barcode, virtual symbol, NFC/RFID tag etc.), it recognizes digitally encoded data using a reader/scanner. The decoded information is identified and associated with plurality of third party servers for service related information. This decoded information is supplemented with user contextual information such as identity, location, preferences or any other related information to make it a complete or better context for a third party service pre-authentication. Once the user is pre-authenticated with this information it is transmitted to the third party server. The third party server verifies the information received and generates the associated input response on device via application interface.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to system (100) and method for providing ultra-quick audio/video messaging phonebook and delivery. The system (100) includes an application server communicating with one or more communication devices (D1, D2) having a phonebook application installed therein. The phonebook application configures device to displays all contacts including registered and unregistered contacts available in the memory (401). When a user selects and holds a contact, application initiates a short duration audio/video messages recording for the selected contact (403) and detect whether the selected contact is a registered contact number or unregistered contact number of phonebook directory application (4040). If selected contact number recognize as a registered contact, application automatically transmits recorded message to the selected contact via application server upon release of hold to contact (406). If selected contacted recognize as unregistered contact number, application automatically transmits a message containing an unique web link to phonebook directory web portal providing direct web access to recorded audio/video message. The system (100) also provides smart delivery option of audio/video recorded message on recipient's device (405). The system (100) detects present status of recipient's device based on information received from device sensors and user inputs, for playing audio/video message. In responses to detected status, an audio or visual alert is provided with further possibilities of hands free contextual engagement on the side of the recipient's device.
Abstract:
A system and method for tailings disposal is disclosed. A coarse tailings feed stream and a coarse tailings crusher for crushing the coarse tailings feed stream is provided. A crushed coarse tailings stream may be produced by the coarse tailings crusher, and a disposal stream comprising the crushed coarse tailings stream may be discarded as geotechnically stable waste product. The system and method may further provide a fine tailings stream and a thickener configured to thicken/dewater the fine tailings stream and produce a thickener underflow fine tailings stream. The system and method may provide a mixer configured to mix the thickener underflow fine tailings stream and the crushed coarse tailings stream to form a combined tailings disposal stream. Dewatering apparatus may also be provided.
Abstract:
Methods for producing stabilized solid dosage form pharmaceutical compositions are provided. In particular, methods for preparing protected granules containing morphinans, and solid dosage form pharmaceutical compositions produced using the morphinan-protected granules are provided.
Abstract:
Disclosed are nanoparticles for delivery of drugs and/or nutraceuticals that include a fibroin polypeptide and a drug or nutraceutical, wherein the nanoparticle has a diameter of about 1 nm to about 500 nm, and compositions of the nanoparticles. The nanoparticles may further include a chitosan, or a proteoglycan such as decorin. Also disclosed are methods of delivering a drug and/or nutraceutical to a subject that involve administering to the subject nanoparticles of the present invention. Also disclosed are methods of making the nanoparticles of the invention, and kits that include the nanoparticles of the invention.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed for producing coated compressed tablets, using at least one upper punch. The upper punch can be a single punch with a hollow shaft (1) containing a movable rod (3) with a tip (4) that is extended or retracted as the rod moves within the shaft. Alternatively, two solid upper punches are used, one with an extended tip and the other with a retracted tip. An upper punch with an extended tip is designed to produce cup-shaped compacts of excipient and/or polymeric tablet coating material, when inserted into the die. Core material is inserted into each cup. Additional coating material is then placed on top of the cup and core, within the die, and compressed with an upper punch with a retracted tip. The method and device of the present invention enables one to produce tablets from poorly compactable substances.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides systems and methods of content tagging and indexing of contents. The present disclosure provides a system for content tagging in a document and laterally linking content of the document for creating/compiling a logically organized document. The system includes a content tagging module configured to allow tagging portions of content in a document to form plurality of content blocks, an attribute association module configured to allow association of one or more attributes including but not limited to plurality of keywords, relative weight, textual description, and audio description with each block of the plurality of content blocks, a lateral linking module configured to create lateral linking between the plurality of content blocks, and a laterally linking based document compilation module configured to compile a logically organized document. The system can be configured to create a table of content based on lateral linking of content blocks for the document.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a system for detecting tampering of a document. In an aspect, the system can include storage of an original document along with its associated at least one digital certificate from at least one issuing authority at a server, and association of a unique identifier with the original document, wherein the unique identifier is also stored corresponding to the original document at the server. The system can further enable creation of another instance of the original document, wherein the instance of the original document includes the unique identifier such that a user of the instance of the original document verifies source and authenticity of the instance of the original document by transmitting the unique identifier to the server in order to retrieve the associated at least one digital certificate based on the unique identifier, and evaluates the retrieved associated digital certificate.
