Abstract:
A method for managing the weight of a subject having an associated predefined target weight, comprises deriving a target energy balance and computing the realized energy balance (303) from collected information (301, 302). It further comprises determining a weight reduction plan (304) comprising a sequence of at least two phases, representing a corresponding sequence of successive time intervals, one phase representing a time interval having an end time associated with an end time of the target period. It involves assigning to each successive phase a distinct set of phase targets comprising at least one phase target relating to food intake of the subject, physical activity of the subject, or target body weight of the subject, such that according to a simulation model of the relation between energy intake, physical activity, and body weight, each phase fulfills the constraint that the respective assigned set of phase targets can be achieved.

Then the processor (15) generates a food log suggestion, based on the selection probability of the at least one food item.
Abstract:
Technique for increased privacy of an RFID system is provided. The system comprises an RFID reader communicating with a plurality of RFID tags each having a unique identifier in a secure data section of the RFID tag. The system performs the step of sending from the RFID reader to an RFID tag a request for an identifier. After this, the RFID tag sends, to the RFID reader, an identifier that is common to a plurality of the RFID tags in the RFID system. Mutual verifications are performed and if the RFID tag and RFID reader belongs to the same RFID system, the RFID tag sends, to the RFID reader, the unique identifier of the RFID tag.
Abstract:
This invention relates to physical uncloneable function (PUF) devices for determining authenticity of an item, systems for determining authenticity of a physical item, and methods for determining authenticity of an item. A PUF pattern of the PUF device is damaged when using the item for the first time.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lamp driver with a load-resonant inverter (4) , which can be driven to deliver a desired power output level at desired frequency. The frequency can be chosen such, that interference with a display system can be avoided when the lamp driver is used in the backlighting system of this system. The lamp driver comprises means (6) for determining a parameter corresponding to the switching frequency or the output current of the inverter, a DC/DC converter (3) delivering an intermediate DC voltage to supply the inverter, and means for controlling the output of the DC/DC converter, such that the desired power level is delivered at the desired frequency.
Abstract:
A method and system for secure RFID system communication is provided. The RFID system comprises an RFID reader (101) communicating with an RFID tag (102). The RFID reader (101) sends (116) to the RFID tag (102) a request to write. The RFID tag (102) generates random data (P), and sends (122) the random data (P) to the RFID reader (101). The RFID system encrypts information (M2) by using the random data (P), and the RFID reader (101) sends (124) the encrypted information (E) to the RFID tag (102) which decrypts the information (E) by using the random data (P). Finally the RFID tag (102) stores (126) the decrypted information (M2) on a memory (103) of the RFID tag (102).
