Abstract:
A method and apparatus for presenting a user interface for visual search results which includes indexing (402) a plurality of metadata values of each of a plurality of items and generating (404) a plurality of item categories based on the plurality of metadata values, and determining (406) a primary item category and a subordinate item category from the plurality of categories. The methods also include presenting (408) a primary row comprising a first plurality of metadata icons indicative of one of the plurality of metadata values associated with the primary item category, presenting (408) a subordinate row comprising a second plurality of metadata icons indicative of one of the plurality of metadata values associated with the subordinate item category, and presenting (408) the plurality of items associated with the first plurality of metadata icons and the second plurality of metadata icons.
Abstract:
An apparatus 200 for simulating physical movement of a digital image 400. The apparatus 200 includes an input receiving module 202, a calculation module 204, and a output module 206. The input receiving module 202 is configured to receive a position input 212 identifying a physical unit of measure. The calculation module 204 is configured to correlate the physical unit of measurement to a position of a image positioning coordinate 212. The output module 206 is configured to output the position of the image positioning coordinate 212.
Abstract:
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for controlling movement of a user on snow. The apparatus 100 includes a support member 104 and a snow interface 102. The support member 104 is elongated in a lengthwise direction 108. The snow interface 102 is coupleable to the support member 104. The snow interface 102 has a gliding surface 122 positioned opposite a propulsion surface 126. A substantially smooth gliding portion 302 of the gliding surface is continuous and uninterrupted along a radius of the snow interface 102 from a position adjacent a coupling 304 between the support member 104 and the snow interface 102 to a position adjacent an aperture 306 disposed through the snow interface 102.
Abstract:
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for playing cards (100) that float and are water resistant for use in water environments. The playing cards (100) comprise a foam layer (102) and plastic layer (104) laminated together, the foam layer (102) for flotation purposes, and the plastic layer (104) for ease of handling. The cards (100) temporarily adhere to one another and to surfaces surrounding the water. The surface of the water (500) itself may be used as a playing surface.
Abstract:
An apparatus (600) and system are disclosed for manipulating soft tissue. The apparatus (600) includes a support member (602) having a support surface (606) disposed between a first end (608) of the support member (602) and a second end (610) of the support member (602). The support member (602) is elongated in a lengthwise direction (612) between the first end (608) and the second end (610). The apparatus (600) also includes a raised member (604) having an outer surface (614) disposed opposite an inner surface (616). The inner surface (616) is supportable by the support surface (606) of the support member (602). The outer surface (614) of the raised member (604) is configured to rotate along at least a portion of a user's body in response to movement of the raised member (604) along the user's body. The raised member (604) is repositionable along the support surface (606).
Abstract:
The apparatus 100 for covering a window includes a first support member 102a and a second support member 102b spaced apart from the first support member 102a and substantially parallel to the first support member 102a. The apparatus also includes a fabric 104 extending between the first support member 102a and the second support member 102b. The fabric 104 is movably coupled to the first support member 102a and the second support member 102b. The fabric 104 forms a continuous loop through which the first support member 102a and the second support member 102b extend.
