The present disclosure provides techniques for processing images captured by an imaging device. An example of a device includes a camera to capture images, a touch screen to display the images captured by the camera and receive user input, and a processor. The processor is to receive a user selection of an area of interest within the image and identifying a sub-image within the area of interest. The processor also processes the image based on the area of interest. The processor also moves the area of interest relative to a field of view of the camera so that the sub-image stays within the area of interest.
