Abstract: A method may include obtaining input information relating to an environment in which an autonomous vehicle (AV) operates, the input information describing at least one of: a state of the AV, an operation of the AV within the environment, a property of the environment, or an object included in the environment. The method may include identifying a first object in the vicinity of the AV based on the obtained input information. The method may include determining a first object rule corresponding to the first object, the first object rule indicating suggested driving behavior for interacting with the first object. The method may include determining a first decision that follows the first object rule and sending an instruction to a control system of the AV, the instruction describing a given operation of the AV responsive to the first object rule according to the first decision.

Abstract: A method may include obtaining sensor data from one or more LiDAR units and determining a point-cloud corresponding to the sensor data obtained from each respective LiDAR unit. The method may include aggregating the point-clouds as an aggregated point-cloud. A number of data points included in the aggregated point-cloud may be decreased by filtering out one or more of the data points according to one or more heuristic rules to generate a reduced point-cloud. The method may include determining an operational granularity level for the reduced point-cloud. An array of existence-based objects may be generated based on the reduced point-cloud and the operational granularity level.

Abstract: Operations may include identifying variables corresponding to an optimization problem, each variable having an initial value. The operations may include selecting a subset of the variables based on the respective function value changes and corresponding variable value changes made to the respective initial values of the variables of the subset and generating a surrogate quadratic unconstrained binary optimization (QUBO) model using the subset. The operations may include determining a solution to the optimization problem including a set of solution values using the surrogate QUBO model, each of the solution values corresponding to a different variable.

Abstract: An audio system can be configured to generate an audio heatmap for the audio emission potential profiles for one or more speakers, in specific or arbitrary locations. The audio heatmap maybe based on speaker location and orientation, speaker acoustic properties, and optionally environmental properties. The audio heatmap often shows areas of low sound density when there are few speakers, and areas of high sound density when there are a lot of speakers. An audio system may be configured to normalize audio signals for a set of speakers that cooperatively emit sound to render an audio object in a defined audio object location. The audio signals for each speaker can be normalized to ensure accurate rendering of the audio object without volume spikes or dropout.

Abstract: A memory system having a temperature effect compensation mechanism is provided. The memory system memory cells in an array having rows of memory cells arranged horizontally and columns arranged vertically. The memory cells have an operating temperature range. The memory system also includes a temperature-dependent biasing circuit that reduces a biasing voltage to the memory cells when the temperature of the array is at or near an upper end of the operating temperature range and increases the biasing voltage when the temperature of the array is at or near a lower end of the operating temperature range. Also provided are comparators for submicron processes, analog-to-digital converters for non-volatile memory arrays used for in-memory computation with floating bitlines, and methods and structures for programming non-volatile memory arrays with automatic programming pulse amplitude adjustment using current-limiting circuits.
