Abstract:
A measurement apparatus includes: a light source that emits light toward a measurement position; spectroscopic means for separating reflected light from a living body located at the measurement position or transmitted light transmitted through a living body located at the measurement position into a plurality of wavelengths; light-receiving means for receiving the reflected light or the transmitted light separated into the plurality of wavelengths; detection means for detecting a change in an amount of the separated reflected light or transmitted light that has been received; setting means for setting a light emission intensity of the light source in accordance with biological information to be measured; and measurement means for measuring the biological information on the basis of a detection result from the detection means.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus has a wireless interface configured to operate in a first mode (an AP mode) that causes the information processing apparatus to operate as an access point and a second mode (an infrastructure mode) that causes the information processing apparatus to operate as a wireless terminal. Also, when, upon activation, the information processing apparatus activates the wireless interface in the second mode and then accepts a predetermined user operation, it switches the wireless interface to the first mode. Furthermore, provision of a wireless LAN setting service by which it is possible to cause the information processing apparatus to connect to an arbitrary network is started.
Abstract:
A technique by which a user such as an administrator can appropriately manage activation and stoppage of services that enables performance from an external apparatus of setting for connecting an information processing apparatus to a particular network is provided. A printer (information processing apparatus) activates a wireless LAN setting service in a state in which a wireless network I/F is caused to operate in an access point mode. The printer, via the wireless network I/F, receives network setting information transmitted from the mobile terminal for setting using the wireless LAN setting service. When the network setting information is received, the printer stops the wireless LAN setting service.
Abstract:
To provide a technique of obtaining the reflection characteristics of an object, which can reproduce the appearance of the object more correctly, an information processing apparatus (101) obtains a plurality of measurement values by receiving, from each of a plurality of directions, reflected light from an object illuminated by light from a given direction, and derives, based on the plurality of measurement values, a characteristic of specular reflection light as a reflected light component in a specular reflection direction corresponding to the given direction with respect to a surface of the object, a characteristic of internal diffuse reflection light as a reflected light component after scattering and absorption in the object, and a characteristic of surface diffuse reflection light as a reflected light component which has been diffused on the surface of the object.
Abstract:
An imprint apparatus includes a facing member that is arranged around a mold and faces a substrate, a first supply unit configured to supply a first gas between the mold and the substrate from a first supply port arranged between the mold and the facing member, and a second supply unit configured to supply a second gas between the facing member and the substrate from a second supply port arranged in the facing member. The facing member includes, between the first supply port and the second supply port, a flow path configured to guide the second gas which flows from the second supply port toward the mold to bypass the space between the mold and the substrate.
Abstract:
A microscope system includes an observation optical system including an objective lens, an XY stage capable of moving an XY plane in an X-axis direction and an Y-axis direction, a first change unit configured to change a slant of the XY plane with respect to an optical axis direction of the objective lens, and a second change unit configured to change a slant of a slide placed on the XY stage with respect to the XY plane. Changing the slant of the XY plane by the first change unit is performed based on a first mark arranged on the XY plane at a position observable by the observation optical system. Changing the slant of the slide with respect to the XY plane by the second change unit is performed based on a second mark arranged on the slide.
Abstract:
A radiation imaging system includes a two-dimensional array in which a plurality of elements which detect radiation are two-dimensionally arrayed. The plurality of elements includes a plurality of detectors usable for exposure control of stopping radiation irradiation in accordance with a fact that a radiation irradiation dose has reached a target irradiation dose. The radiation imaging system includes a controller configured to determine, based on a setting of a reading manner of signals from the plurality of detectors, a minimum irradiation time required from the start of radiation irradiation until the stop of radiation irradiation according to signals from the two-dimensional array and perform an error process when the minimum irradiation time exceeds a reference irradiation time.
Abstract:
Provided is an information processing apparatus and a control method thereof. The apparatus includes a user interface unit that accepts an operation made by a user and a wireless communication unit that communicates wirelessly with an information terminal. A user authentication is executed in response to a user authentication request from the information terminal via the wireless communication unit. In the event of the authentication succeeding, a screen displayed by the user interface unit is not switched in the case where there is a logged-in user who has been authenticated through the user interface unit in response to the user authentication request, whereas the screen displayed by the user interface unit is switched in the case where there is no such logged-in user.
Abstract:
A communication apparatus communicates service information with another communication apparatus during a predetermined period which repeatedly starts in a predetermined cycle and during which a plurality of apparatuses including the communication apparatus transmit or receive a beacon, communicates, with the other communication apparatus during the predetermined period, address information to be used for communication for executing a service indicated by the service information, and communicates, using the address information, with the other communication apparatus for executing the service indicated by the service information at a timing based on the predetermined cycle.
Abstract:
In order to obtain a smooth gradation reproduction in an image to be formed, an image processing apparatus inputs first data of an image to be formed which includes a color and second data of the image to be formed which does not include the color and has continuous gradation; determines printing material amount data corresponding to the first data; determines, based on the printing material amount data, a dot pattern when forming the image by performing a printing scan a plurality of times on a printing medium; and generates, based on the second data, a switching signal that switches each pixel in accordance with an area ratio of each of a first dot pattern and a second dot pattern.
